Speaking both Arabic and English, staff at the reception can help you plan your stay. The tents are very authentic, the beds are big and comfortable. The place has a beautiful setting in the desert. We were welcomed by dates, coffee, fruits. We ordered a dinner, which was really delicious and rich. Also, the breakfast was a traditional arab pancake, absolutely tasty. You need a 4 WD car to get to the camp, but the host can pick you up at a designated location.

It was a hot night and the staff put our beds outside the tents, sleeping under the stars and full moon night was above and beyond our expectations. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation provides a patio. The luxury tent features mountain views, a picnic area and a 24-hour front desk. Great location, service, food, transport to camp. This is how you do the business! Owner and other employees were kind, helpful and told us about omani culture and history. Tents were really comfy, bedsheets clean and the second smaller tent with bathroom was as well really well equipped. There is electricity and decent phone signal. The owner came with his brothers at evening and we had tea, and there was some beduin singing around the fire. I also took a 3 hour tour with them, and we visited beduins further out in the desert.

Food was great and everyone was very hospitable. Everything was prepared for our comfort . The location is great,we saw goats and camels walking in the desert and enjoyed silence and peace.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. We absolutely loved our stay at Wahiba Bedouins private camp, it more than exceeded our expectations. We spent two nights at the camp as part of a 2 1/2 week trip to Oman. We were met in town by Muhammad, the brother of the camp owner, who is very proud of the camp. We followed him in our 4x4 as he escorted us to camp. Upon arrival we were taken to the sun shelter and were served coffee, dates and refreshments. There was always plenty of food and drink for our entire stay. The camp consists of two guest tents, a dining tent, daytime sun shelter, kitchen tent and bathroom shelter with shower. Everything is done in a traditional way and is spotlessly clean. Muhammad is justifiably proud of his camp and how it is run. We also met Hasan at the camp. He is the camp cook but does much more than that. Hasan has a very engaging personality and always has a smile on his face. He regaled us with stories and answered any questions we had. Did I mention he is an outstanding cook! we enjoyed some of the best meals on our trip at the camp including a camel biryani (sorry vegetarians, plenty of veggie options as well). We chose this camp because it is small and we really wanted to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the desert, and that is exactly what we experienced. another highlight was an excursion to Muhammad’s village/oasis where he has a house and they have date palm trees, mango and other fruit trees, as well as grow alfalfa for the goats and camels. The visit was another highlight as was driving amongst the dunes in the desert. Thanks to Muhammad and Hasan for a truly memorable experience.

Very sustainable setting, great, easy and beautiful huts, very little light in the night, which we liked a lot, all very clean. Humied was a very welcoming host, explained many desert facts and made us a sweet little picnic between the camels with fresh karak and dates in the sunset in the desert. We loved his very well kept camels, friendly and strong! We like to warmly recommend this camp!
