Old City Market is 650 metres away and the College of Charleston is 150 metres from the inn. We had an excellent stay at Barksdale House Inn. Breakfasts were tasty and filling. The Inn was close to everything we wanted to see in Charleston. The staff were very friendly and we appreciated the opportunity to store our luggage after checkout as we weren’t leaving til late afternoon. We would stay at the Barksdale House Inn again.

Housekeeping was so helpful, I needed more towels, and hey presto, in 2 seconds, I got everything I needed. The decor in the room is mind-blowing - super chic, calm colors, and lots of sockets all over. The height of the bed was just right. Pillows were exquisite, and the bolsters were great to sleep & cuddle with. I could stay here for a month, ha! Looking forward to coming back! 😁
