The hosts make you feel welcome and part of the family. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean and the air-conditioning and fans were all effective in keeping the rooms comfortable. The property is situated on the canal and the gardens contain fruits and nuts which the chefs make use of in their kitchen. All the meals we ate were fresh, delicious and reflective of the dietary needs of our group. Guests can also book an Ayurvedic massage. The hosts also own a business that manufactures natural cosmetics and food products. One of my best experiences in 50 years of travel. If only we could have stayed longer. Thank you Vijay and Vijaya for your hospitality.

Location was near to the beach and a few restaurants and cafes. The hotel was a newish building, it was clean, spacious and everything worked. Room cleaning was available every day. It had a pool, which we regularly used. Staff were lovely. Restaurant food was really nice. The room had a safe. Shower was good. It had two comfortable armchairs in the room. You can book transport via the front desk. It had a car park.

    The hotel was located on the shores of Periyar River, and the numerous tilting palms made the views spectacular. The hotel only had 7 rooms but all were well equipped, of good size and very comfortable. Bathroom was very good. Food was superb. All Staff were very good. Hotel offered boat trips, massages and fishing to name a few. The Kidney shaped swimming pool added to the views giving beautiful reflections.

    BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT ESPECIALLY WHEN MADE BY CHEF BABY CHECHI. I ENJOYED THE MASSAGE AT THE PARLOUR. SLEEPING ON THE HAMMOCK WAS MY DREAM COME TRUE. THE VIEW FROM THE POOL WAS SUPERB ESPECIALLY AT DUSK. THE STAFF WERE HELPFUL AND I ENJOYED MY STAY.

    This accommodation, and its location, are exceptional. Located on the banks of the Periyar river, the views are incredible, and there is a magnificent infinity pool. Very serene and peaceful. There is Wi-Fi, A/C, and all the amenities one needs. We used Uber during our time here, which was accurately priced and very reliable (staff at Cranganor can also organise taxis). There is also a spa on the property. Breakfast was complimentary, and lunch and dinner can be pre-ordered (can recommend the seafood curries!).

    Cranganor exceeded all expectations. It looks great but in reality is fantastic. The staff were attentive and helpful, always responding to requests, the food really amazing, a huge selection, generous portions, comfortable rooms, quiet local area. We enjoyed an evening boat trip along the river and that was about all we wanted to do except relax by the pool, in a hammock or in the games area. The spa offered a range of treatments which we also enjoyed and would highly recommend. A wonderful stay.

    The property is so beautiful and peaceful. The room was very neat with all basic amenities. The bed and pillows were so cosy and comfortable. it was just an extra ordinary experience just to sit and watch the pool and the river. All the staff were so friendly and real. Justin, Jeevan, cleaning staff , kitchen staff were all behaved like ur family. Special thanks to Shree for taking beautiful pics for me. if u need a fully relaxed staycation this will be the best. Thank you so much the whole team - Ambili Sunil
