The suite was perfect! Exactly as it shows on the photos. Beautiful views to wake up to. The beach just steps away from your room. The staff from cleaners to waitresses were all so kind and welcoming. It was my 40th birthday whilst here and they bought me cake to our suite after we finished dinner. The food was all delicious. A la carte every night which made it feel more special than the average all inclusive “all you can eat” buffet. There was one buffet evening and it was excellent. We had a floating breakfast in our private pool on my birthday which was so special and fun. The views of the sunsets from our balcony were spectacular, a real treat to be able to lie in bed and watch as well.

I travelled with a friend for her birthday treat. We realised we are in for a great time from the moment we arrived and we were met by a charming valet who welcomed us graciously like we were some "queens". We had a grand welcome at the reception and the wow moment was when we entered our room only to be welcomed by a complimentary champaigne bottle and two maritim branded sunhats in a magnificent and spacious room. The services at the bar, restaurant, the SPA, the horse stable...all exceeded my expectations. Did i even mention that the DJ was so accommodating as to play a happy birthday song for my friend Joan, played for her a Kenyan song and played for me a Malawian song of my liking? And did i mention how the restaurant went the extra mile to bring for Joan a cake, sung a birthday song for her at breakfast? A rating of 10 cannot even begin to explain the experience at this hotel!!!

The cleaning ladies came in every day - emptied the bin , cleaned and tidied up where necessary , changed the towels practically every other day and sheets very regularly . What we particularly loved ( and we have never had this in any other accommodation anywhere) is a personal water filter system in our kitchen , therefore saving buying huge bottles of water and having to carry them back from the supermarket . We would also like to mention 2 excellent restaurants a couple of minutes walk from the apartments - Kimbo Lebanese kitchen , which is very reasonably priced , as well as La Payote ( more upmarket but lovely for a special treat ) . We loved the beautiful Mon Choisy public beach which is just under 1k away , as well as the local Cannoniers beach which is nearer .
