Hardus is an excellent host,we loved everything, and the food was great. We viewed a leopard drinking water in front of our porch. Elephant, giraffe, hyena, and antelope around the lodge.

Absolutely incredible! We enjoyed every single minute to the fullest. Our hosts, Peter and his daughter, were unbelievably kind and helpful – nothing was ever a problem! The accommodation is brand new, modern, well-maintained, and spotless. The entire property is clean and beautifully kept. The ladies in the kitchen were an absolute dream – I felt like a princess! The food and service were fantastic. But the best part was the evening conversations around the campfire – truly unforgettable. I was genuinely sad to leave the lodge. Thank you for everything and for these wonderful days! We’re already looking forward to our next stay!

We had a wonderful time here. The entire team went above and beyond to give us a unique experience. The location and accommodations are fantastic. From your comfy couch and pool, you can spot elephants, crocodiles, and hippos. We even spotted a leopard on the boat trip on the Olifants River. Thank you, Cathleen, for spoiling us. With just three rooms at Chacma, you’re guaranteed a much more intimate experience than staying at a bigger location. As a solo traveller the real highlight was the friendly and fun team behind Chacma: Matt, Josh and Charlie are fantastic, passionate guides who guaranteed that each trip out provided memorable, safe experiences while Karen, Lynx and the wider team at Chacma ensured a comfortable stay. You’ll learn so much from this team and they are only too happy to share their knowledge and experience with you. A special place I can’t wait to return to.

    My partner and I stayed for 2 nights as a birthday gift. It was amazing. Guide, Millie was fantastic and we were able to see an abundance of game throughout our 4 game drives. On arriving back to the lodge after our morning or evening drive, Hardus and the other staff had breakfast/dinner ready to go and it was delicious. During the day, we sat by the pool and watched the elephants stroll by! We would 10/10 recommend.

    We had a very relaxed experience in the bush. A lot of personal attention from everybody. Food was well catered for and of very good quality. The game drives, morning and afternoon, were excellent, the guides Nico and Vivian, did a very good job. Swimming pool was very neat and also necessary in this time of the year. WiFi was very good.
