It is relatively easy to travel to Hinterzarten by public transport and the hotel is within 10 mins walk from the railway station. The forest trails start within less than 100 meters from the hotel. There are great many forest walks and lots of things to do in the area.

The peace, the great beds, the little bread baskets delivered each morning to your room, the cows and goats right outside the door, the beautiful nature and the heated pool and sauna. Oh, and also the card that you get upon arrival which gives you free public transportation and a bunch of discounts and free activities near the lodge - for instance a trip with the cable car to Feldberg. Will definitely come back.

The breakfast buffet is also very good. We had a good time at the hotel bar in the evening. The location is great, just a 7min walk to the lake or the Badeparadies. Would definitely recommend the place for a weekend getaway.

Personnel at all levels and for all services was excellent. From welcoming at reception, to dinner service and breakfast in the restaurant, spa and check-out all were excellent. Beautiful and clean rooms, as well a beautiful and very clean SPA and delicious fresh food in the restaurant.
