Staffs are really accomodating and they helped us in every way possible, our vacation is super smooth because we dont need to worry about the security and the other things needed when travelling/while in vacation. I will book this again on my next visit in Siargao. if you are into beach front, then you should consider this, and you dont need to pay for 100 entrance to go to Cloud 9 bridge as you will be exiting towards the beach here. The villa, while still at the heart of General Luna, is a short distance away from the hectic area (which can get quite loud in the evenings) — which means its serene, oasis vibe is totally preserved at all hours of the day. The villa itself is gorgeous, something out of a magazine! Lush plantscapes with a private beachfront, and the interior decorating is just exceptional. Incredible attention to detail (everything from the placement of outlets, towel hooks, etc) and just so stylish and luxe. Best of all is the amazing host Joe — who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome in his home and help maximize our stay in the island. So generous with his time and recommendations, and just lovely to chat with. He is in a complete league of his own in terms of helpfulness — even sending an important document we had forgotten after we’d left to a neighboring resort where friends were staying — free of charge. Just so incredibly hospitable and accommodating. I cannot recommend Mantaray enough! And we cannot wait to be back there for another absolutely dreamy getaway in this beautiful island :)

The location is perfect, the main street is around the corner with all the restaurants. Would stay here again for sure.

It was peaceful while providing gorgeous views overlooking the water. I especially loved the Church on the hilltop. My mother just passed away recently, so the Chapel was of great comfort to me. Our suite was also extremely comfortable. Felt like heaven, and having the balcony with the beautiful nature surrounding it helped me when I wanted to just spend time alone. The all day room service was great.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. We felt so comfortable there that we sometimes didn't want to leave our terrace with its stunning view to go outside. We would come back here again. Nice place with a great infinity pool and sauna, beautyful sunsets, 24/7 working pool, bar. Alex, the owner, is a great guy, who helped us a with travel tips and logistics a lot. He is always at the place, always with a big smile and ready to help, answer your question or just chat. Sauna was a big surprise for us. it’s looks kinda strange to go to the sauna in Philippines where is always hot, but you will be surprised how pleasant it is after an active day exploring surroundins. Hope one day we will come back to Surigao Dream!
