The 'Atlantis the Palm' hotel and its sister hotel the Royal were awesome. Loved the Desert safari and Mosque tours. The malls are on another level, Fantastic. This is one of the best places I stayed in Dubai. The apartment is beautiful, with a comfortable bed, a nice high desk to work from, plenty of room in the cupboards, a great kitchen and bathroom. Host was extremely helpful and communicative, an excellent host. The parking is easy and covered. The pool is beautiful, with very comfortable sun lounges, perfect to relax after a long day at work. Great camp with the BEST staff.
Great camp with the BEST staff. They tend to your needs around the clock. My only drawback is the restroom situation. The toilet and shower is in one very small stall. Had to hang change of clothes in different stall to keep the shower from wetting them. Another drawback is COLD showers. No hot water at all even after letting it run for some time. My husband caught a slight cold because the desert gets cool in the evening, and the walk back to the tent from the cold shower did him in. Also on my booking confirmation , it said there would be a bidet in the tent. There was not one, but I think that is best. Not mad about that at all. On a good note, we really enjoyed the dishes we were served with such great variety. The entertainment was nice. We booked for two nights, but one night is more than enough. Clean and safe. Shop workers very helpful. Restaurant workers always busy, Cleaning tables sweeping the floor, as soon as a table been left the workers clean it. That's from an expensive Restaurant down to a Starbucks or McDonald's. Just back in the UK and in a cafe, tables dirty, rubbish left. We did the desert safari tour at sunset - organised through Emirates and highly recommend it. We also did the Top of Burj Khalifa at Sunrise, this was a really heartwarming experience. Using the Metro (redline) was very easy and affordable (get multiple day pass).
