Such a cool city, is like going back in time with all the old city walls and forts. Definitely get the Dubrovnik pass to do the city walls and Fort Lovrjenac - some of the museums are cool too and quite easy to do in 20-30mins each. This pass also gets you free buses on the city buses, get the “Moovit” app to see what bus to get/what time they are at. Mount Srd at sunset was another highlight, also get to see the old town in night lighting on the way back - walked it instead of getting the cable car which is very overpriced imo, ~7km loop from Pile to the top and back, some dodgy rocky areas but mostly fine. City in general is very busy (even in October), must be crazy in summer, and quite pricey like all touristy places (Paris, London, Barcelona) but bakeries all over the city make for easy cheap meals.Guest review byMarkUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Split & the whole of Croatia has so much history to explore.
Split & the whole of Croatia has so much history to explore. I would recommend a walking tour, unfortunately we did not have enough time. The shops are lovely to walk around, blended into Diocletian's palace, beautiful place. Picasso's cafeb/bar beside our accommodation was lovely for breakfast, get there early as it fills up quickly. So many fab ice cream stores. Good night life but also feels very safeGuest review byClaireIreland - 8.0

We spent a day exploring the old town which was lovely with lots of quaint little streets full of great bars and restaurants. The following day we spent on the Kolovare beach which was pebbly but had great facilities (showers, changing areas, toilets, beach bar) and the clearest waterGuest review byEmmaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Durrës is a very diverse city, with both modern buildings and unfinished construction as well as scattered trash. The seafront promenade is long and pleasant, lined with plenty of restaurants and small shops. Public transport is available and inexpensive, with a bus ticket costing 40 lek. You can also find bike rentals for exploring the city.Guest review byLiinaEstonia - 10.0

Beautiful old town, essential to take a boat trip along the bay to view the majestic mountains. The cable car is also a great activity, not only do you get a view of Kotor Bay but when you get to the top there is a lot to explore. The roads are very busy so it takes a while to get around. Essential to book a taxi before you arrive at the airport as the taxis from there are very expensive. Absolutely amazing scenery. Very busy old town as cruise liners arrive daily.Guest review byGeraldine - 8.0
I would love to return to this old town to explore more.
I would love to return to this old town to explore more. We arrived too late and left too early to get to our next stop. We only got to walk abit around town. It would have been so nice to explore the church etc.Guest review bycweeSingapore - 10.0

Beautiful city packed with history, culture, fantastic food and great amenities, all centrally located. Everywhere easily walkable, but good local bus services run too. And Pula central bus station runs coach services intercity across the region that are easy to book and affordable, making Pula an excellent city to visit, and base for visiting Croatia.Guest review bydjallenUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Trogir is a small town which can be seen very quickly. Its ancient and narrow streets are filled with cafes and shops. Very charming and fun to visit. Cobblestone streets and is very lively at night. Huge yachts are docked along the main Riva.Guest review byGeorgeUnited States
