- From US$195.95 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 2,114 reviewsI had an absolutely fantastic experience at Hotel Plaza in the heart of Tirana. The location is ideal, right in the center, providing easy access to key attractions. The hotel itself offers the epitome of luxury, boasting all the comforts one would expect from a 5-star establishment. The rooms are beautifully appointed, spacious, and well-maintained. The staff at Hotel Plaza were exceptional—attentive, courteous, and always ready to assist. The level of service truly exceeded my expectations. The on-site amenities, from the fine dining options to the spa facilities, contributed to a truly indulgent stay. I would highly recommend Hotel Plaza to anyone seeking a top-notch accommodation experience in Tirana. It's not just a place to stay; it's a destination in itself, providing a perfect blend of convenience, opulence, and hospitalityGuest review byFABIOItaly

Tirana is a typical Balkan city.
Tirana is a typical Balkan city. There are a few attractions, and the city can be explored in a day. If you have already visited many European countries, it can be worth a visit, but for first-time travelers, I would recommend focusing on Western Europe.Guest review byzeynepgencTurkey - 10.0

Didn't feel like Albania - very nice spacious beach with a shallow calm sea. Some areas are developed and others are not, covered in rubbish and derelict buildings. Lots of shops selling all you need.Guest review byMarek LasekUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Vore is well located between two main metropolitan cities in Albania. At the same time it’s a location where you can have a peace of mind. Being a small town one can not expect to have a metropolitan city has to offer but there is enough of what someone would need on daily bases.Guest review byAhmetUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Hidden gem.
Hidden gem. Pellumbas is only 30 min from Tirana bud it is actually beautiful small village with superb views, especially during sunset. Hiking treks are in nearby mountains, one trek leads to huge interesting cave and start directly frim the village center. Local people are very warm and welcoming. We stayed in Rozmarine pension and would go again for longer.Guest review byEva ŠatavováCzech Republic - 10.0

I love the weather, the friendly people, their generosity and the amazing food which is reasonably priced, especially when eating in a restaurant serving local food. It is a happy place, full of amazing energy and surprises! It also feels very safe and very welcoming to foreigners! Mount Dajti is seen almost from everywhere you are in Tirana and it is very special seeing it from wherever you are in the city! It is a superb place as well as an undiscovered gem of a destination!Guest review byConorUnited Kingdom - 8.0

It's inexpensive here, the sea is beautiful, but there are no attractions. And the biggest problem is cleanliness. There is a lot of trash on the beach, a lot of open trash cans, in some places it stinks of sewage, and in one place something is leaking from a large pipe right onto the sand on the beach. If you stay at a good hotel, you may not notice any of this. But if you go for a walk around the city, unfortunately, it is clear that there are major problems with cleanliness.Guest review byDmytroCzech Republic - 6.0

Tirana is a typical busy capital city with horrific traffic jams and it's a case of crossing your fingers as you try to cross the road. Found a great cafe bar Noor which we highly recommend. The market in the square is very overpriced and there's constant banging music. We felt thaat tourists were taken advantage of, accept in Noor which wa great value for money.Guest review byJaneUnited Kingdom - 10.0

After almost 2,000 km traveled by car in nearly 30 hours due to countless traffic jams, we managed to arrive home without other problems, but of course extremely tired—yet with beautiful memories, to which you also contributed with your kindness and the valuable advice you gave us. We learned, with your help, that Albania is a beautiful country, still in a period of reconstruction, full of wonderful and hardworking people, always ready to help you with everything they can. But perhaps the most important thing is that they have not forgotten that Romanians and Albanians have been, and still are, brothers. We are connected by both past and present. The first thing that surprised us about our host was the outstanding cleanliness we found inside the apartment. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with absolutely everything necessary, air conditioning in every room as well as in the kitchen, clean bed sheets, immaculate white towels, etc. It has happened to me to stay in luxury hotels and not find this level of perfection. About the hosts, we have only words of praise. Even before our arrival, they checked if we were all right, if anything had happened, and during our entire stay they were always there for us—at any hour—through WhatsApp and even through Mr. Nardi himself coming to the apartment in person, even though they live quite a distance away. We were pleasantly surprised that we even had free sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach. At our departure, they even offered to help us if we needed anything. Sincere congratulations to these people who once again showed us that Albanians are people with big hearts, always ready to help you as long as you respect them and come with good intentions to their country.Guest review byVlad-DomitianGermany
