Nice mid-size city. Lots of things to explore around from wineries to paleontology exploration sites like the Dino Project, a very interesting tour that lasts aroun three hours but allows the visitors to learn first hand about findings in the region and the research that is behind them. There are thermal hydrogen sulphide baths, a ski resort 20 km away, mountains and a small river, there is a regular bus to Chile and Mendoza, no shops, no special entertainment, a gas station 50 km away.
