Very convenient to the Lechweg Trail. The room had been renovated and reflected traditional and modern decor. It was spacious, clean and comfortable and had a simple kitchenette. I had dinner and breakfast at the property and both were super with very friendly patrons and staff. I was also able to buy a bag lunch to go which was perfect for a day of hiking.

Warm vibes - stayed for our honeymoon and it was exactly the experience we were looking for. Breakfast in the AM was a great way to start the day. Staff was friendly, provided guidance for activities when we inquired. Another thing we loved was the heritage and charm everywhere on the grounds and within the building. Certainly would stay again - this time for longer - we only stayed 2 nights.

    Reutte is a small town over the border from Germany in Austria. We stayed there between visiting Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein castles and Linderhof Palace. It was a 20 minute drive from Hohenschwangau. The hotel had free parking on site. They had two parking lots, one behind the hotel and a smaller one across the street. There are signs at each parking lot letting you know it belongs to the hotel. We were able to check-in with the German confirmation provided by booking.com (they spoke a little English). Our room was way more spacious than we expected. We booked for 3 adults. It had two bedrooms each with a queen size bed, a small sitting area, shelving for luggage and clothes and a balcony. The room had a separate toilet room and a room with a shower and sink. It also had a full kitchen (although it was closed we could make use of the refrigerator). There was also a table and chairs and a living room with a TV. Very nice. The hotel looked like there was an older section and a newer section, I think we were in the newer section. Breakfast was provided and was buffet style. There were cereals, meats and cheeses and bread, yogurts, juice, eggs. Everything was great.

    This was truly the Bavarian experience we were looking for. This hotel was wonderfully cosy and warm decorated in Bavarian decor. We were greeted by Eva whom I corresponded with prior to my stay and she we friendly and really made us feel welcomed escorting us up directly to our room. The room was large with a balcony overlooking the snow topped mountains. It was spectacular. The floors in the bathroom were heated which was a very nice on cold mornings and in the middle of the night. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the service was friendly and warm. This was our best experience of our trip.

The hotel is in a wonderful location, very close to so many wonderful places and activities. If you are in search of genuine hospitality, this establishment is a must-visit. I wholeheartedly recommend it and look forward to returning to savor the delightful fusion of flavors and warmth on my next journey. They even treated our dog like she was family.

    Extraordinary little hidden gem! Short drive to Neuschwanstein castle. Quintaessencial Tyrol experience. Jaw dropping views from the balcony. Immaculately cleaned and well maintained. Elevator, and free onsite parking. Full spa experience at the basement level: jacuzzi, infrared, steam room, sauna, wow!     The elder couple that runs the hotel is very friendly. The location and interior, especially breakfast space, make you feel like you are in the traditional Alps house. The view to mountains is gorgeous and the breakfast is good, there is something to choose from for everybody. Enjoyed the stay very much and I would consider staying here again!

    This hotel is so beautifully situated in the valley of a stunning castle set-up. We hiked up to the large fortress and took the fun mountain-side elevator down. The breakfast spread was perfect and the meals were wonderful.

    Excellent accommodation in a beautiful area for hiking & biking. Hosts were outstanding. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. Plenty of shopping within easy drives, lovely views from all directions. A definite A+.

    It is a beautiful area with many nice walks to do. We were there when it was snowing and the frozen ice and snow was beautiful. The ski field is very close by, however the slopes are very challenging and only suitable for those who have grown up on skis.

    I would recommend the high wire for an adventure.

    I would recommend the high wire for an adventure. The view of Reutte from above is amazing. And the history of the castle ruins gives an incite to life in the area long ago. There are also very beautiful lakes for walks and the alps for hiking and skiing.
