- From $616.38 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 232 reviewsThis Property needs a excellent review, I travel around the world quite frekvently so I have many things to compare to! reminds me like a Maladives in the mountians! Stuff very nice and welcoming,( dealt with Robert at the bar and Andrew the manager both were fantastic! Fooood absolutely awesome ( Deer Cheeks to die for), Half a board is pleanty for the stay! Just get a good bottle of Wine! ( They have great selections). Breakfest is kick ass! Almost no kids, and they allow dogs, which all dogs were very well handled! This is Ski-in- Ski-out place! Two clean pools, one large Whirpool, Cold plunge and 4 Saunas from 45c to 95c , Cave-bombastic with constant 40c and 4 large rest areas that people just sleep, read or just enjoying the view! All Saunas are Male-Female all naked, but no-one gives you a grief if you keep towel around. The place has a great magic, since experince in construction filed, I must say they spend some money on quality of the work and great maintenance inside out and even great garden! This is a place you must visit more then once, becase second time you have something to look foward to! Cheers from Chicago!Guest review byKutekUnited States
- From $467.58 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 194 reviewsEverything. From the very start you are taken aback by the beautiful views surrounding the area and the drive to the hotel from Salzburg. Upon arrival, the staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. The facilities in the hotel are also incredible! From the room itself, to the common areas, spa, restaurant and outdoors. Markus and Claudia together with their staff and family have done an incredible job to look after every little detail during your stay. Another highlight was the staff itself, everyone made us feel welcome and knew who we were throughout the week. The food was superb, every night a different menu and quality always high. Breakfast and afternoon snack were also a highlight. The location is also perfect for other day trips around the area. Overall, this hotel was the highlight of our trip and we hope to come back!Guest review byGiulianaUnited States
- From $272.38 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 260 reviewsmama couldn't have made a better fitting into the scenery crib. A funky place. With a good vibe. Pretty informal. Very kind and good willing staff (I even got checked in upon arrival, pretty early in the day, thank you, warm smile blonde lady). The "lobby" feels like a mountain sports hub with people continuously coming in or going out. The escalade concept is a nice touch both indoors and outdoors. Oh, the room, yes! You feel like in a hut with its own cave (the bath area). Mine had a sauna, too, though I haven't used it. Nothing pretentious, everything casual and coherent with the modern approach of traditional and wooden all around the hotel. I would stay there again when snowboarding or biking.Guest review byMihaiRomania
- From $211.33 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 6,388 reviewsThe room was comfortable, quiet, modern and equipped with all expected amenities. 5-star bed. The buffet breakfast caters to all tastes and appetites and is served on the top 15th floor with stunning views of Salzburg city and nearby mountains. The location was practical for us, as we came by car from the motorway and parked underneath the hotel, but there's a direct bus to the city center running nearby every 10 minutes, and the trip is a short one.Guest review byViorelBelgium

I loved Salzburg.
I loved Salzburg. Had planned a full-day round trip from Vienna and the OBB train station agent asked me if I want my return open.I said ok. So thankful for that suggestion/question. I got there around 4pm and right away started searching for a hotel. The city centre across the river is where I spent my 1.5 days (except for the apartment hotel in Anif at night) I didn’t book a guide and only followed the tourist crowd. Loved the hill-top view, Mozart museum, street cafe and the view everywhere. I was lucky that the rain had just stopped the day of my trip. would’ve loved the Eagle Nest and Sound of Music tour but no time for them.Guest review byMersedehCanada - 10.0
An excellent place to visit. Beautiful scenery.
An excellent place to visit. Beautiful scenery. Loads to see and do. Lovely food. Would advise when booking accommodation that you book somewhere that includes the summer card as this gives you free access to all the gondolas in the area and free travel on local buses and trains plus discounted entry to many activities and saves you a lot of money.Guest review byCarolineIreland - 10.0

Stayed at ever grün KAPRUN and the experience was absolutely amazing! Everything was excellent — the staff were super friendly, the food was delicious, and both breakfast and dinner were served as a well-organized buffet. The place was clean with breathtaking views. A very beautiful destination, we were alone on the mountain ridges most of the time. We would definitely like to return. For swimming, we recommend the lake in Zell am See rather than the local swimming pool, which is quite small and completely crowded.Guest review byMartinaCzech Republic - 10.0

Bad Gastein is an amazing mix of natural beauty and old-world charm, surrounded by stunning mountains and lush forests. In winter its a fantastic skiing area, and since its over 1000 meters elevated they usually have a long skiing season. In summer its great for hiking! There’s so much to do, from relaxing in the famous thermal spas to exploring endless hiking trails with breathtaking views.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
A village in beautiful scenery that lacks something.
A village in beautiful scenery that lacks something. Accessibility of services (hiking, lifts, restaurants) was a bit confusing. Many services did not have clear English instructions/price lists/online shops. The Tyrolean region summer card seemed to give you a much wider range of services than the Salzburger region.Guest review byReijoFinland - 10.0

I've been visiting Bad Hofgastein for 12 years in the summer holiday, and with every visit it gets a bigger space in my heart. Plenty of memories, plenty of relaxation, plenty of beautiful and peaceful sceneries, and every year people are being nicer and sweeter. The town keeps developing and renovating that can be noticed in every visit.Guest review byBasmaUnited Arab Emirates - 8.0

It is a residential town so not much atmosphere or amenities other than hotels. It suited us very well as it was very peaceful. Driving or taxi into Salzburg is the best option. Otherwise a bus or taxi to an out of town shopping centre plus a bus from there. We parked out the out of town shopping centre for dinner and got a parking ticket. It was not well advertised that we should have paid for parking. Nothing to do with the hotel but be warned!Guest review byCarolynUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Sankt Johann is a clean and beautiful town with gorgeous views of the mountains. Walked to visit the town center for breakfast at Bäckerei-Cafe-Konditorei Bauer. We visited Liechtensteinklamm just before they closed. It was the best time to visit the gorge.Guest review byPK&RuthyUnited States - 10.0

Such a wonderful small town. Sound of music tour was lots of fun. Many good restaurants. Very walkable. We were lucky to be there for a local traditional festival, which was almost like a little Octoberfest, but not rowdy.Guest review bymichaelUnited States
