The cleaners were excellent. It was a lovely surprise to come home to a freshly made bed and pristine white towels a few days after checking in. The beds were comfortable and the couches were very cosy too.
The view from the balcony is fabulous and the walk along the river is very enjoyable.

We liked the proximity of our cabin to the pool and waterpark, jumping pillow, mini-golf and basketball court. The cabin was tastefully decorated and equipped with everything we needed for a weekend stay.

Seeing Family and friends is always the highlight of our Townsville stay.
We were in town to attend a funeral but enjoyed 2 free days either side of that just catching up with family. Particularly enjoyed the Castle Hill goat track walk. Not an easy walk, but you are rewarded with a wonderful view of Magnetic and other surrounding Islands.

Close to shops and the many eateries at The Strand. Bus stop out the front. Flat area for easy walking. Easy to find our way around by car. Hervey Range Lookout and Tea Rooms is a must do, quite a surprise. Magnetic Island was amazing, definitely need a whole day for exploring.

Since we always visit family when we come, usually in July, we are well occupied with them. Townsville is a very nice city and it is easy to get around. Everything you need can be found there. Night life is plentiful. But, if you are not into water sports, there is really nothing much else to do.

North ward has a great vibe and feels safe. Lots of people about without being too crowded, lots of great eat places to chose from ( can recommend the Asian Thai Fusion restaurant for dinner - yum - and the Bakehouse on Eyre Street for brunch ), beautiful views out to the bay, lovely waterfront walks/ cycling, and several swimming pools within walking distance. Almost everything is within easy walking distance.

Loved the food a little cafe called the balcony served wonderful eggs Benedict. The Sunday markets were great. Had some ice cream at Juliette’s was beautiful walked all along the beach went to the waterpark. My granddaughter had a ball lay local. Seem friendly as we were up there for the state championships track and fieldwe met some new friends drove all around in our hire car beautiful old Queenslanders did lots of walking through the parks which were beautiful would love to come back.

North Ward is a very accessible part of Townsville, there is a good nightlife and good access to a large supermarket.
its on the beachfront so it can get quite busy, but at night the noise was not noticible from my lodgings
