- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 69 reviewsWe loved everything about the cabin, it was so nice and comfy yet so closed to the nature. When we wake up, we do see kangaroos, wallabies and even an Emu just outside the window of our cabin, it was a really amazing experience. The place was kept very clean and tidy, the cabin has all the necessary amenities, it looks exactly like in the picture. It was a very nice getaway in the Grampian and we would definitely come back to try put indoor massage service they offered.Guest review byChanyaAustralia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 133 reviewsCabin was clean, confortable and lovely and cool. The best thing though by some way was the incredible location. Kangaroos hopping past everywhere you looked, emus, deer, parakeets, parrots, all with the grampians as the back drop. Very peaceful, no traffic, we actually cut our walk short so we could sit on the porch with some wine to watch the wildlife and enjoy the scenery.Guest review byEmmaUnited Kingdom

Lots of Kangaroos everywhere through the site. Plenty of bird life around including emus in the morning. Kids would love this site. 10-15 minute walk to the small village. Everything was clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Visiting kangaroos and cockatoos a nice add on.Guest review byRitaGermany

Halls Gap is beautiful.
Halls Gap is beautiful. We visited the new Gallery at WAMA and its botanical garden area, which we will definitely do again. There are some nice eateries. Flame Brothers was excellent, and the local wine shop stocks a great range of regional wines. The Pomonal Wildflower Show was a highlight, with lunch at Barneys. Surrounded by natural beauty it is a must visit.Guest review byBillAustralia - 8.0

I just stayed one night going through Horsham so cannot comment on except to say I did go across to the Victoria hotel for dinner and found the meals were very good and reasonable cost. Would certainly go there again.Guest review byVicAustralia - 10.0

Ararat is a lovely town in itself and has everything you need, town hall, art gallery, many shops, antiques, eating places, gift shops, swimming pool, indoor and out, recreation, park, drives up to Halls Gap and tourist attractions areas. Didn't like the mess and Barracks much, it was cheap and very pub style.Guest review byMareeAustralia - 8.0

A few pubs at Nhill, however the recommended place was shut for Sunday dinner unfortunately. Owner was helpful however and suggested a couple of alternatives (the only alternatives in Nhill!!!) Not much there but a friendly town halfway between Adelaide and Melbourne. Think there was a bakery but that was closed. The IGA was open thank goodness.Guest review bySuzyQ17Australia - 10.0

Lake Tyrell was absolutely amazing - I’m sure you could visit everyday and see something different! Sea lake is a pretty little town with friendly locals and a great pub for meals. Green Lake is another little hidden gem in the area. Silo art was great - especially being lit up at night. Really enjoyed our time in Sea Lake.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

So much to do in town and the area. Charming town, friendly locals, excellent food at Victoria Hotel, & Cat Clarke's restaurant which featured local produce & bush tucker. Lake Tyrell and the silo art in the area are well worth your time!Guest review byMichaelAustralia - 10.0

Brilliant sample of country Victoria/Australia; genuine warm country welcome amid towering gums, native bushlands, great birdlife and cute animals. The easy walk through bushland to town delivers great food, sensational wine list and great morning coffee. ...and I'm a professional tour guide showing tourists around, so I'm a well-informed "purchaser"Guest review byLuigi De SotoAustralia - 8.0

It is a fascinating town, old goldfields, amazing 19thC architecture, good caravan park. For us it's been a transit overnight being halfway between Adelaide Hills Home and Falls Creek, with numerous trips to family winter and summer last 12 or so years. Worth a longer stay but ...circumstances... A shout-out to the Farmers Arms Hotel for good pub food on a Sunday evening!!Guest review byTim FatchenAustralia
