IrelandEverything about this Motel was beyond our expectations. We're travelling the Great Ocean Road - starting point Sydney. This is an aptly named accommodation - Sunnymead - with the emphasis on Sunny! Beautifully re-juvenated with fresh paint (white) and exceptional tyling in the bathrooms. Prominent colours pops are yellow and mustard. Very nicely stocked with crockery, cocktail glasses and kit, dressing gowns, beautiful fluffy white towels. We felt lucky to have found this Motel and we could believe the price!

The rooms was perfekt, and you have your own car park outside your dor. 100 meter to the shops / resturants
Duncan and Anna was realy nice, telling the story around the Apollo Bay area.
Very nice breakefast with your own *al a cart" egg and beacon........ Highlig recomended.

AustraliaWe ended up staying another night because the atmosphere is so positive, we had a great 5 day trip - the convenience of being on the main road full of great places to eat and having the best pub in town at our doorstop was great. A special shoutout to Jacob, Jamie and Chris (the amazing and most contagiously friendly staff i have ever had the pleasure of coming across). The facilities were always clean and i can’t wait to come back again

Walks, exploring, R and R, shopping and eating out. We loved walking out on the rock jetty and talking with local fishermen. Enjoyed Marriners Lookout, great sea views and vegetation of the area. We had a relaxing family holiday at Anglesea. The location of the holiday park right next to the beach and river meant we barely had to get in the car. This was one of the most beautiful and unusual locations I have stayed in. You won't find modern conveniences, which would ruin the authenticity of the experience. The beds are wonderful, the bathroom beautiful and the scenery is outstanding. If you have an artistic soul this property is for you. There are plenty of DVD's and games but the true entertainment is the surroundings, the serenity and the quiet. A small, well-kept village that caters well for tourists. It is on the Beech Forest rail trail, a well-maintained feature. We arrived just after the Golden Gumboot event when the gumboots were still displayed on the trees but were removed promptly. The only local facility we visited was the general store, that also functions as the local post office, and a cafe and gift shop. It is run by a very pleasant young lady with excellent local knowledge. Near beautiful parkland.
Near beautiful parkland. Had to watch out for native wildlife. A koala came to side of the road but I was able to go around. Simpson has a well known speedway (though well out of town) which is also very popular so pick your times carefully to ensure accommodation available.Guest review byCoulthard
