- From $188 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.4Good - What previous guests thought, 739 reviewsBreakfast each day was wonderful, and gave us the opportunity to mingle with other guests and talk about travels and experiences. The room was beautifully air conditioned and instructions to leave the a/c on while absent was really useful in the tropical weather. We had a family room, which meant that our daughter could have the bedroom and we had the bed in the living area, which was handy for our night time trips to the toilet. The pool was just lovely, and it was relaxing to sit with our feet in the water after a big day out.Guest review byAnitaAustralia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 62 reviewsBeautiful apartment in a lovely setting of boab trees and swimming pools. Very convenient to Cable Beach. Front desk staff were very helpful in making reservations for us. Nice sitting area outside our apartment where we were able to enjoy breakfast and a glass of wine in the evening. We stayed here many years ago and were very happy to have the chance to stay here again.Guest review byJoyCanada

Walking distance to high quality restaurants and also the shop on the corner for a quick and cheap meal (they have homemade lasagna packaged up to buy). The townhouse was comfortable and airy, perfect for Broome climate.Guest review byHelenAustralia

Broome is an iconic place to visit, and we will spend more time there in the near future. Does tend to be expensive however due to its popularity and remoteness. The old town is pleasant to visit and many iconic shops to visit, particularly if looking for pearls! There are wildlife parks and other attractions as well - try a sunset camel ride.Guest review byGrantAustralia - 10.0

An excellent place to take short trips from, for example Emma gorge or Wyndham. The town is small but there are some very nice eating spots. Great for fishing, with Barramundi being the fish to catch. I would highly recommend hiring a 4wd then you can get around the town and also explore some great places that are out of town but accessible only by 4WD. But don't panic nearly all the tour operators will pick you up from the place you are staying if you choose not to hire a car. Check the temperature because it can be very hot.Guest review bySteve RodgersAustralia - 4.0

Unfortunately Halls Creek is suffering from lack of inspiration! Information Centre not open so no information of the area, it is run down and needs a good lot of help from the WA govt to encourage tourism ... There is a lot to see and the history is amazing. Roads are very poor to the sights people wish to see and explore. Indigenous population friendly and I'm sure with a little encouragement & support many would be able to find employment without the constant "put down" there seems to be!Guest review byJanAustralia - 8.0

Derby was a cute town with a lovely art gallery where you can watch the artist at work and learn about other artists in the area. You can even get a cuppa and cake there. The sculptures around the town are lovely. The boab trees are interesting. We are at the boab inn and the Spinifex. Both were great meals.Guest review byTaniaAustralia - 10.0
The lake views never get old.
The lake views never get old. The staff are helpful and friendly. I highly recommend doing the boat tour and the guide Lukas was knowledgeable and super fun. The picnic spot down near the discharge into the Ord was peaceful. The pool was great but too cold to enter (im a Territorian 😂). The homestead museum was a highlight with so much nice old memorabilia there. Grassed areas were green and perfect for a walk or to sit and take it all in. I also recommend going to Kununurra and Wyndham as there's so much history to take in. I will definitely be back multiple times. Just kicking myself I didn't visit sooner. Don't make my mistake and check it out.Guest review byCraigAustralia - 10.0
So wonderfully peaceful and remote.
So wonderfully peaceful and remote. We did an amazing 6 hour tour with Bundy and four of his family. Cannot recommend highly enough! Culture and country tour… our eyes and hearts were opened and in awe of the stories and wisdom and the way this land is cared for by the beautiful Bardi Jawa mob.Guest review byJanetAustralia - 10.0
Just get there no matter what .
Just get there no matter what . Everything in the Kimberley is larger than life and this is beyond belief . Well run establishment which works like clockwork. Generator runs for limited periods but is off at night Meals were three course and like dining at a restaurant. Great size tentsGuest review byBadeggAustralia - 10.0
KLR are spectacular and there is so much to see and do.
KLR are spectacular and there is so much to see and do. However, the roads are unsealed and corrugated so driving can be hard and tiring. Distances are vast and service stations serving petrol are few and far.Guest review byTonyAustralia - 10.0

After-hours check in to Broome Vacation Village was awkward with the need the program the outdoor safe 3-row tumblers with a number that was sent to you by email but only partly sent by sms. Dialing in the numbers from the sms did not work, you had to use the numbers given in the email but we did not know this subtly. All other aspects of Broome Vacation Village were fantastic but the Chalet cabins are clustered together and there is a bit of a walk (3-minutes) from the parking bays at the front of the cluster. There are many activities in Broome to keep you occupied: - 3-hour fishing trip with Absolute Ocean Charters was fabulous and rewarding. - Late arvo sunset cruise was fabulous. - The swimming and facilities below Cable Beach Surf Clubhouse are excellent anywhere between 1/3rd and full tide but not recommended at low tide. - Ditto Gantheaume Point beach where you have the added ability to drive on the beach to find a less densely populated spot to swim. - Visit to lighthouse and walk around the historic house grounds was well worth the effort. PS: We did the Cable Beach camel ride 2-years ago but didn't worry about it this year however highly recommended if you haven;t done it before.Guest review byGraemeAustralia - 8.0

I really enjoyed all the day tours I was able to do from Kununurra to Lake Argyle, Bungle Bungle, Mitchell Falls and El Questro and there are some lovely art galleries in town. Generally people were friendly however I wouldn't venture out after dark. I was very glad I chose the Kimberley Croc Motel as it is very central, right opposite Coles, so easy walking distance. It's nothing flash but has a lovely little pool and courtyard, a good laundry and kitchen so very economical, and also pet-friendly. It is also secure. If you have a vehicle there is lovely accommodation on the edge of town beside or near the lake.Guest review byPamela
