- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 231 reviewsExcellent air quality. Beautiful flora and fauna. Peace and quiet. Only nature sounds could be heard. No immediate neighbours. Bed was extremely comfortable. Spacious bathroom. Incredible location in the middle of a forest/ Springbrook National Park. Beautiful wood cabin with outdoor deck. Kitchen had a stove (no oven) and a microwave, sandwichmaker, rice cooker, kettle. Air con and heater available. Being off grid: we appreciated not having TV reception and no internet in the cabin. There was a DVD player and a CD player. Reception had a nice selection of DVD movies. Graham at reception was very helpful and gave us great tips on places of interest.Guest review byFrancescaIreland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 94 reviewsEverything. It was spacious, comfortable and looked great. It had everything you needed. Great terrace and view of tropical plants-and Kangaroos. It’s very quiet and you feel as if you are in the middle of nature. Steve and Kay couldn’t have been more helpful with information on things to do (I’d recommend the bike ride on the disused railway track and Twin Falls in Springbrook Park).Guest review byJeannineUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 481 reviewsOur stay was amazing!! The place is very clean, organised and comforting. Perfect for a relaxing getaway. Paul and Sharron were incredible, providing great local tips and even helping us out on our last day with a flat battery issue. Amazing people. Will definitely visit the place again.Guest review bypedro fonseca teodoroGermany

The Church was an authentic Step Back in Time with a rich history and the owners have kept it, as it was - we loved that. Nestled on the Hinterland Ridge with so much to offer in a cosy spot. Good value for money.Guest review byAnonymousAustralia - 8.0

Loation, peace, quiet, nature, the birds, fireplace and staff are amazing. We've been coming here 15 years. The kitchen needs an upgrade with utensils and pans, knives need sharpening, spa could use some maintenance, but that's all doable. We have already booked for next year. Special place with special memories. If you want to switch off, relax, reconnect and enjoy nature, this is the place to do it .Guest review byDanielleAustralia - 10.0
Steve and Kay are amazing hosts!
Steve and Kay are amazing hosts! And the location was absolutely stunning. The villa we stayed in was the Pinnacle and with all honesty it was just perfect and could not ask for it to be any better, and Steve’s freshly baked bread every morning made starting each day just rightGuest review byKhalidAustralia - 10.0
The hosts are incredibly accommodating.
The hosts are incredibly accommodating. We were due to stay in Beechmont and, unfortunately, the accommodation was affected by the wild weather over Xmas/New Years. On the day before we were due to arrive, I phoned Nathan as an alternative accommodation and he took us in and welcomed us. We all had an absolute ball with tips on swimming holes, animal feeding, kayaking and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Would 100% recommend and look forward to going back again.Guest review bySharnz4444Australia - 10.0

We went to a wedding at Rosewood Estate and were blown away by the incredible view in all directions. After a stay in a delightful BnB with an amazing breakfast (Cedarview) we went for a bush walk in Binna Burra National Park and then visited the lookout opposite the cute little Flying Bean cafe. Apart from having to negotiate a windy and sometimes narrow road to get up and down the mountain it's a perfect place for a day trip or a slightly longer stay to just soak it all in and relaxGuest review byJudy - 8.0
Well worth visiting, even as a day trip.
Well worth visiting, even as a day trip. Beautiful, pretty, easy walks with spectacular rainforest scenery and lots of waterfalls. Bring your bathers to have a swim in the waterfall pools and streams. Drive slowly up there cos its nicer but also to avoid running over the cute little jumping Pademelons. You can tell there has been less public investment in Parks/conservation in QLD compared to NSW and Vic so expect the facilities, including walking paths, to be more like 1980s-era elsewhere. Also QLD appears to be struggling to keep up with cleaning up after the continual stream of natural disasters, so check what tracks are open. Definitely shop for groceries and treats before you go. There is a small grocery shop / pub / fast food just opened up there but stocks are very limited & they are still finding their feet. There are no night time restaurants/food (only day time). The locally-designed map of Springbrook is useful but it is not completely accurate - eg the location of English Tea Gardens is not near/at Springbrook Retreat. Highly recommend going to the English Tea Gardens. It has lovely indoor and garden settings and has the best fresh scones i have had in a long time. And in addition to English teas they offer divine Taiwanese teas. There is also tasteful rustic pottery for sale (it is run by a lovely elderly Taiwanese couple). There are also a few other nice places to have a day- time meals and snacks, including vegetarian offerings. On the way to/from Springbrook, just before the hill climb, there is a lovely large casual garden restaurant/tea stop called Bonappetea. They do High Teas, casual meals, tasting plates (including vegetarian food) and are popular for small events.Guest review byKathleenAustralia - 10.0

Great place for relaxation, wine selections were vast and well complemented by the staff who could recommend specific wines with meals on offer. The wood fire was so relaxing in the lounge area and definitely what my wife and I required.Guest review byDuncanAustralia - 10.0
Springbrook is a beautiful natural environment.
Springbrook is a beautiful natural environment. It is best to bring food with you because there are limited places to eat out. If you like being close to some great walking trails and experiencing nature then Springbrook is the place to visit.Guest review byVeraAustralia
