Sydney is just a beautiful city...it takes advantage of it's spectacular harbour so well. It was easy to get around either by foot or by public transport. So many great sites to see...The Maritime Museum was excellent with access to replicas of the Endeavour and Duyfken as well as HMAS Vampire. The Anzac Memorial was a pleasant surprise...I was lucky that I was able to speak with one of their excellent volunteers who gave me so much additional information...things that I would not have learned without her assistance. St Marys Cathedral was very impressive and would hold it's own with many of the great European Cathedrals. Sydney Tower is a must see...just check the weather to ensure that the views will be on display (wouldn't be so good on an overcast, cloudy day)Guest review byStephenAustralia - 10.0

What pleasure to sit/walk and observe the Hunter River from the Newcastle foreshore. Delightful beaches are in easy access. So too Newcastle inner-city area. Stockton (on the northside of the river is worth an excursion and reminder to "old" Newcastle. Excellent train service to Maitland and bus services to other near locations.Guest review byBillAustralia - 6.0
Location was great for access to beach & town.
Location was great for access to beach & town. Pools at the resort appear well maintained & spread across the resort. Ideal for golfers. Rooms very poor quality for the cost. Single beds not setup & using double bed linen. Kitchen has junk crockery & old applicances. Bathroom always very wet after showering. Balcony not cleaned despite debri from trees.Guest review byJeff InnesAustralia - 8.0
Great little coastal town.
Great little coastal town. Watch out for the windy weather - can make the beach a bit of a no go. Good nightly entertainment options. Including buskers. Great options and quality of food. Superb scenery. Not cheap. Road into/ out of town constantly very busy - don't stay on that if you can help it.Guest review byCampbellAustralia - 8.0
I liked being able to Whale watch from Shelly Beach.
I liked being able to Whale watch from Shelly Beach. We saw three pods of whales with 9 whales in total. Admittedly, although we could see them from the beach, we needed binoculars to get a better look. Make sure you visit Sea Acres Rainforest Boardwalk, and take your time to listen and soak up the amazing atmosphere.Guest review bySteveAustralia - 8.0
Nice wide streets; beautiful old buildings; lovely river!!
Nice wide streets; beautiful old buildings; lovely river!! Glass Art Gallery great, and so were the Historic Council Chambers. We strolled through the Botanic Gardens and were surprised by the Zoo there! Disappointed that the museum of the Riverina was closed (on Mondays). We ate in the Romano Hotel, which was very nice.Guest review byVirginieAustralia - 10.0

Country location with a city feel.
Country location with a city feel. Great cafes and restaurants in both Albury and Wodonga. High end shopping centre. Short drive to wineries and and tourist towns like Beechworth, Bright and Yarrawonga. When ever I am in Albury I always stock up on great produce at Harris’s Farm Markets. Take a stroll through the Botanic Gardens.Guest review byDianeAustralia - 10.0
