Sydney is a huge city and eveything you can imagine is there...
Sydney is a huge city and eveything you can imagine is there somewhere. We live interstate so we head for the harbour and the Circular Quay area. Our best dining place is Sydney Cafe on the roof top of the State Library. 'Cafe' is a joke! It is the best top drawer restaurant you could want with incredible views over the Opera House, Circular Quay, the Harbour Bridge, Luna Park and North Shore and the vast harbour itself. This is a proper city with all the services, traffic, crowds, sight seeing opportunities, ships and many smaller boats churning the water, transport links both local and international and much more. To help the budget, stay in surrounding suburbs and hop onto a train, ferry, bus, tram or your feet and explore the CBD and the Rocks area near the bridge and catch a ferry the Manly and play on the sea beach!Guest review byGeoffAustralia - 8.0

City Hall was great for the Musica Viva Concert, Blackbutt Reserve was interesting and scenic with many native animals and birds well displayed. We had good food and coffee at CorEat. A ferry ride to Stockton was very pleasant. Art gallery in the old jail was worth visiting.Guest review byAnnAustralia - 6.0
Location was great for access to beach & town.
Location was great for access to beach & town. Pools at the resort appear well maintained & spread across the resort. Ideal for golfers. Rooms very poor quality for the cost. Single beds not setup & using double bed linen. Kitchen has junk crockery & old applicances. Bathroom always very wet after showering. Balcony not cleaned despite debri from trees.Guest review byJeff InnesAustralia - 8.0
Great little coastal town.
Great little coastal town. Watch out for the windy weather - can make the beach a bit of a no go. Good nightly entertainment options. Including buskers. Great options and quality of food. Superb scenery. Not cheap. Road into/ out of town constantly very busy - don't stay on that if you can help it.Guest review byCampbellAustralia - 8.0
I liked being able to Whale watch from Shelly Beach.
I liked being able to Whale watch from Shelly Beach. We saw three pods of whales with 9 whales in total. Admittedly, although we could see them from the beach, we needed binoculars to get a better look. Make sure you visit Sea Acres Rainforest Boardwalk, and take your time to listen and soak up the amazing atmosphere.Guest review bySteveAustralia - 10.0

Very modern town with plenty to do.
Very modern town with plenty to do. Shops and nearby attractions are good. We went to a local Chinese restaurant at Kooringal and were delighted by the food and prices. Wagga RSL club is very modern and has all the usual club facilities. Went to Palm & Prawn Hotel for a kid's birthday party and again their facility was excellent. Plenty of seating and kids' playground keep the kids entertained. Food offerings were goodGuest review byWazzaTigerAustralia - 8.0
Country location with a city feel.
Country location with a city feel. Great cafes and restaurants in both Albury and Wodonga. High end shopping centre. Short drive to wineries and and tourist towns like Beechworth, Bright and Yarrawonga. When ever I am in Albury I always stock up on great produce at Harris’s Farm Markets. Take a stroll through the Botanic Gardens.Guest review byDianeAustralia - 8.0
