- From $256 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 2,199 reviewsWe were meant to stay from 7-16 Mar, cyclone hit and we were able to move our bookings to 28 Mar-6 Apr. We had 7 rooms during our stay (5 for 8 nights and 2 for 3 nights), x4 2 bedroom superior apts, x2 2 bedroom apts and x1 bedroom apt We did request and pay for 2 rooms on the ground. Right up until the day before we arrived, reception was not able to confirm our room numbers. If I'd known how far our 2nd room was going to be and how difficult it was going to be for our mum to go up/down the stairs to and from room, we would've asked to move rooms. We checked in quite late to the resort, so by the time we got in our room, unpacked and relaxed after our international flight, we'd already made ourselves comfortable and used the towels, bathrooms etc; when checking in I did keep telling the receptionist that we had our mum but that didn't seem to factor in her allocating the room. It was our fault for staying in the room. She just took her time walking around the resort Our room was very spacious and the arrival pack (eggs, bread, milk etc;) kids activity pack, free drinks/kids club/mini golf vouchers were much appreciated😊 even the road works outside the resort, you couldn't hear any extra noise where our rooms were located. We appreciated the washing machine and dryer. The resort having trolleys for shopping trips was handy to have. Car parking was a breeze and placed well within your room allocation. The gym was used frequently, games room visited by the kids/teenagers and the cinema was a hit with the under 5's The pools were amazing! there was something for everyone in our group (1yo to 60yo) was nice having the spas beside the pools too If something was broken or you needed an extra blanket, reported it to reception/rung house keeping and it was dealt with immediately. A1 service TIP: bring mat/old towel to use as door mat to wipe up wet floors when rainingGuest review byNayNew Zealand
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 204 reviewsWhat a treat! If you are looking for a luxurious and comfortable retreat from the world, this is the place! Gorgeous location with beautiful surroundings. We loved the spa bath which we enjoyed whilst sipping our complimentary champagne, then slipping into the cozy bathrobes to snuggle on the sofa warmed by the log burner. Absolute heaven. We also enjoyed the breakfast provided, in fact we really didn't want to leave. We tried to book a second night, but unsurprisingly Treetops was booked out. But maybe best of all.... no internet!!! A true country escape, and we have recommended it to many friends already ❤️Guest review byJoyUnited States

The bed was VERY comfortable and the view was lovely. Downstairs at the casino the bar staff were lovely and remembered the drink I'd previously ordered which was a nice touch. We stayed in the three bedroom unit and had two beds and two baths together, then living space, then master bedroom and ensuite at other end of unit. Brisbane!...love it!
Brisbane!...love it! Lots of walking trails (majority with shade). Seems like October/November is the time for shows at The Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC)...if you are visiting soon...check out The 39 Steps at The Playhouse. You have a choice of Lyric, Cremorne, The Playhouse theatres, Concert Hall. Don't forget the Art Gallery which is just across the road from QPAC. .. Amazing view from the 23rd level Sky Deck at Star Casino. Fabulous restaurants and bars. For an old worldly atmosphere go visit Brisbane Arcade...have a bite to eat at Room with Roses. Catch the City Cat Ferry for only 50cts and enjoy a lazy cruise up and down the Brisbane river...hop on and off for fabulous shopping and eateries all along the river! Drop into fab boutique "They call me Kitten D'amour"...sassy dresses!Guest review byBettyAustralia - 10.0

Cairns is an amazing place to visit.
Cairns is an amazing place to visit. Weather was great and we were able to attend a conference as well as explore Cairns and surroundings including a trip to Port Douglas, Train trip to the mountain and swimming at popular beach and swimming place in Palm Cove. We stayed in central Cairns in a clean and reasonable place. Our nightly visit to the Food Market Court adds fresh and delicious meals to our menu.Guest review bySekoveAustralia - 8.0

We visited during the annual festival of flowers.
We visited during the annual festival of flowers. Gardens are lovely. There's also interesting things to do for train enthusiasts. Plenty of shopping and dining options without the stampede of big cities. I was pleasantly surprized by the amount of green spaces and parks. Plenty of space to read a book, picnic or just walk through parks. Lovely museum and cafes to suite your needsGuest review byAnelleAustralia - 10.0
I can understand why this is a busy holiday destination!
I can understand why this is a busy holiday destination! Beautiful town with great restaurants and a superb 4 mile long beach (subsequently named ;-)). The town has such a relaxed feel about it and one could easily laze away the day at a cafe or beach, or take a ship and go out to explore the reef! I will definitely head back for a longer stay in the future!Guest review byDelanoSouth Africa - 10.0

I travelled to Hervey Bay for the Whale Watching and wasn't disappointed. I took three tours on three different boats and saw whales on all three outings, some very close to the boat. We also saw sea turtles, dolphins and sea birds. The weather was perfect, with mainly sunny days and light winds during my stay. Access from Brisbane was easy and the roads were good and well maintained. There are plenty of good food options and cafes opened early (5:30am near where I was staying) so you can grab a hearty breakfast early and head off for the day to maximise your time in the area. Recommended.Guest review byKenAustralia
