The Public Transport is Excellent, City is very modern and easy to get around. very safe and police is always hanging around. my only negative is the food in Brisbane city is terrible, i guess you might get better food in the suburbs.Guest review byShameerAustralia - 10.0

Loved the boardwalks alongside the beaches, we walked for hours. Also really enjoyed hiring the assisted powered lime bikes and riding on same boardwalks. So much fun. Beautiful sun and moon rises from the beaches.Guest review bySarena - 10.0

We liked the Esplanade and the pool/lagoon which had entertainment for young and old at dusk. There are many restaurants to choose from and cater for anybody's taste. The Central Shopping Centre is also an ideal place to eat and it has many specialty shops for window shopping/buying. On a hot day it is a pleasant way of spending a few hours in the coolness of the Centre. There are also plenty of indoor attractions or tours in or around Cairns. That is the reason why we keep on coming back.Guest review byTrudiAustralia - 10.0

We visited during the annual festival of flowers.
We visited during the annual festival of flowers. Gardens are lovely. There's also interesting things to do for train enthusiasts. Plenty of shopping and dining options without the stampede of big cities. I was pleasantly surprized by the amount of green spaces and parks. Plenty of space to read a book, picnic or just walk through parks. Lovely museum and cafes to suite your needsGuest review byAnelleAustralia - 8.0

We both grew up in Rockhampton and so our 2 days there was spent visiting family and friends. Did notice that Yeppoon isn't the quiet little town it once was and happy to see the big improvements both in Yeppoon itself and also the state of the road from Rockhampton to Yeppoon.Guest review byCherylAustralia - 10.0

I attended a cricket game at Harrup Park, which I had never been to before. Google maps made it easy to find and the facilities are amazing. One afternoon, I walked the Mackay Bluewater Trail. It was interesting and I felt safe on the trail.Guest review byKENAustralia - 8.0

Hervey Bay is the best place in the world to see Humpback Whales whether for the juvenials that are people curious (known as August whales) or the Mothers and Calves which arrive from early September through to the end of October. My focus is only on the whales but there are various trips to K'Gari (formerly Fraser Island) either by organised bus tours, self drive or by boat to the West side where kyaking and beach tours plus whale watching in season is available. See Tasman Venture web site for details.Guest review byMarkUnited Kingdom
