It was a good distance from town and amenities. We really loved the walking distance to the Licorice Factory and Lauri Daly Oval :). Although it was very busy with people attending the tournament in Waggawagga, everyone was very respectful. Our accommodation was very neat, clean, tidy and the beds were very comfortable. As we were too late secure a family room, we book two rooms next to each other which was great. Rodger and Dona were very helpful and would answer any questions we had as soon as possible. Very modern town with plenty to do. Shops and nearby attractions are good. We went to a local Chinese restaurant at Kooringal and were delighted by the food and prices. Wagga RSL club is very modern and has all the usual club facilities. Went to Palm & Prawn Hotel for a kid's birthday party and again their facility was excellent. The food, wines and local produce are second to none. West Wyalong is a quiet country town. Has got all facilities one would need. Very friendly community and many outlets for meals. The bakery and cafes are fabulous. The bars are fantastic. Clean town. When we booked we explained that we have show dogs that do...
When we booked we explained that we have show dogs that do NOT sleep in the room but either sleep in the car or in a trailer.. i was told a "pet fee" would be charged but it then sudenly turned into $100 extra for my dogs.. ( which still slept in the car) I had to argue for a parking space as I was told to park in the street ( after already paying the extra for the dogs., although a van had been given 3 parking spots. The lovely cleaner Jill was fantastic , she sorted out a parking spot and was extremely helpfull.
