Sandalford Vineyard restaurant degustation menu with matched wines were exceptional. The wine tasting we did before the meal was exceptional with some unusual wines offered and which we thought was good value for money. A very experienced person served us who new his product and was happy to answer questions and helped us to choose a selection of wines that suited our tastes.Guest review bygabrielleAustralia - 10.0
Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy and cabin has everything you need. Nice and quiet and permanent residences were friendly too. All round very pleasant stay and Caversham area has nice wineries and still close to other attractions. Our favourite place for a good feed with a relaxing atmosphere is a Tavern called “Down the Road” which is just a stone throw away from the park.Guest review byClaudetteAustralia - 6.0
I was born and lived here for 30 years.
I was born and lived here for 30 years. Unfortunately Midland does not resemble or look anything like it did back then. It is a typical business area with nothing to offer a tourist. Ideal for a short stay or overnight prior to going to the airportGuest review byGrahamAustralia - 8.0
Easy after hours check in and out
Easy after hours check in and out I would have left a nice note for the cleaners but didn't have a pen with me. I think my cleaners name was Tash. The room was lovely and clean and the air-conditioning was on which was great as it was a very hot day.Guest review byPamela JayAustralia - 10.0
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Visited the chocolate factory, Italian and Indian restaurants. Spoilt for choice. Many breweries and wineries, some within walking distance. Short drive to busier areas of Perth.Guest review bynosillAAustralia - 6.0
Basic motel, clean and new.
Basic motel, clean and new. The lady that checked me in was very friendly. But overall the place has many small things that could be done to improve the place, simple and free things that would make guests stay more user friendly and pleasant. (Ie: providing Wifi login at check in and not waiting until guest asks, having a contact phone number on the reception door if not open/manned, ensuring description is correct - kitchenette implies basic cooking facilities - a microwave and fridge doesn't constitute kitchenette if there are no crockery/ cutlery to utilise.Guest review byursulaAustralia - 4.0
Breakfast staff amazing.
Breakfast staff amazing. Wrong room despite a request and then moved after 2 nd night. Refused late check out despite only 40% occupancy and being entitled as diamond members to a 12 md check out and having stayed there for 3 weeks.. Told we would be charged for extra blankets when heating was not working in children room.Guest review byRichardAustralia - 10.0

We love the Upper Swan Valley - driving around to quaint coffee places, seeing the vines and valleys, stopping at wineries, restaurants and speciality shops like Mondo Nougat, The Margaret River Chocolate Factory, Whistlers, The Tapas Bar, Oakover, Baileys Brewery and this time we ventured more around Guildford too - Rose & Crown, The Guildford Town Bakery (excellent!) ... all a great experience!Guest review byVanessaAustralia - 10.0

We stayed overnight on a Sunday night and according to their websites, many of the cafes and restaurants were either closed on a Monday or not open for breakfast. Even The Colony at Mandoon's website said they were not open on a Monday until 10am (but in fact they were open well before that). They don't answer their phones over the weekend, so you are totally relying on website information without knowing whether it has been updated. It would be worthwhile phoning the cafes the previous week to ensure they will be open on Monday morning as I cannot confirm or deny whether they were open or not.Guest review byVanessaAustralia
