- From US$287.04 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 494 reviewsExceptional service by all staff, everyone we passed by had a huge smile and greeting for us. Didn't have a bad meal the whole time we were there. Plenty of activities to keep us occupied between lounges by the pool. Cichetti for dinner was absolutely delicious, can highly recommend the gnocci served with beautiful Wilyabrup wines. We ordered the lunch hamper for Christmas day and it was a bargain for $99 filled with prawns, smoked salmon, salads, loaf of baked bread and heaps more. Our room was clean and comfortable and serviced daily, we had resident wallabies and bungarras walking around and through the grounds. I loved that the bungalows were a good distance apart too. We felt like every effort was made for us and loved our stay. Hope to be back again soon!Guest review byMeaganThailand
- From US$273.31 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,280 reviewsApartments were modern, clean and excellently equipped - right down to the Weber BBQ. A relaxed, chic and easy feeling in an otherwise hot and sparse part of the world. The pool was perfect and the restaurant offered exactly what was needed. We couldn't have asked for more and it was the breath of fresh air we were looking for. The best place to stay in Exmouth.Guest review byClaytonDenmark

Broome is an iconic place to visit, and we will spend more time there in the near future. Does tend to be expensive however due to its popularity and remoteness. The old town is pleasant to visit and many iconic shops to visit, particularly if looking for pearls! There are wildlife parks and other attractions as well - try a sunset camel ride.Guest review byGrantAustralia - 6.0

We visited Exmouth because of its proximity to Ningaloo reef. We planned to spend several days snorkelling. However the coral was quite dead and algae covered so we were disappointed by that. However we did enjoy the great variety of colourful fish and saw turtles, sharks and stingrays. We also enjoyed a sunset whale watching cruise where we saw many hump back whales.Guest review byMichelleAustralia - 10.0

An excellent place to take short trips from, for example Emma gorge or Wyndham. The town is small but there are some very nice eating spots. Great for fishing, with Barramundi being the fish to catch. I would highly recommend hiring a 4wd then you can get around the town and also explore some great places that are out of town but accessible only by 4WD. But don't panic nearly all the tour operators will pick you up from the place you are staying if you choose not to hire a car. Check the temperature because it can be very hot.Guest review bySteve RodgersAustralia - 10.0
Relaxed and Friendly Town
Relaxed and Friendly Town Karratha is a great place to visit. The locals are friendly and welcoming. The town has everything you need, with shops, cafes and services close by. It’s clean, easy to get around and has a relaxed pace. The surrounding landscapes are unique and worth exploring. Good value overall for a regional stay. Tips for New Visitors: Book accommodation early, especially during peak work seasons. Bring sun protection. The weather is hot and dry most of the year. Hire a car if you want to explore nearby spots like Dampier or Karijini. Visit local cafes early. Some close by mid-afternoon. Check opening hours for shops and services. They can vary. Talk to locals. They often have the best advice on where to go.Guest review byDexterH71Australia - 8.0
For a first time visitor, Port Hedland was interesting.
For a first time visitor, Port Hedland was interesting. There is nothing much to do (other than walk around the jetty area). The sunset was beautiful, the long walk ways on the beach front was a great way to enjoy the town. Of course you could join tours to go on the water or to the Salt Lake etc.Guest review byAmyAustralia - 10.0

Obviously being the school holidays, Exmouth is packed to the brim. The gorgeous locations like Turquoise bay, lakeside, yardie creek etc were all full of people, so my advice to other families is to get to your destination early to beat the crowds.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
Coral Bay is a very beautiful and relaxing place to visit.
Coral Bay is a very beautiful and relaxing place to visit. The Ningaloo Reef is a highlight and a trip on the glass bottom boat is a must. The eating facilities are quite adequate , we enjoyed Bill's and the Reef Bar. The seafood pizza at the Reef Bar was delicious and the best we had ever tasted. The shop assistants and coach driver ( from the airport) were exceptionally helpful and cheerful. It was a pity the beauty spa was only open 2 days a week , February may not be their high season.Guest review byJudy - 4.0

The staff were unfriendly they just don’t have any people skills. The bathroom had a constant cigarette smoke smell, The rail fell of the wall to hang stuff on. The sliding door didn’t lock so they just put a hook latch on it.Guest review byKarlAustralia - 4.0

Unfortunately Halls Creek is suffering from lack of inspiration! Information Centre not open so no information of the area, it is run down and needs a good lot of help from the WA govt to encourage tourism ... There is a lot to see and the history is amazing. Roads are very poor to the sights people wish to see and explore. Indigenous population friendly and I'm sure with a little encouragement & support many would be able to find employment without the constant "put down" there seems to be!Guest review byJanAustralia - 10.0
After-hours check in to Broome Vacation Village was awkward...
After-hours check in to Broome Vacation Village was awkward with the need the program the outdoor safe 3-row tumblers with a number that was sent to you by email but only partly sent by sms. Dialing in the numbers from the sms did not work, you had to use the numbers given in the email but we did not know this subtly. All other aspects of Broome Vacation Village were fantastic but the Chalet cabins are clustered together and there is a bit of a walk (3-minutes) from the parking bays at the front of the cluster. There are many activities in Broome to keep you occupied: - 3-hour fishing trip with Absolute Ocean Charters was fabulous and rewarding. - Late arvo sunset cruise was fabulous. - The swimming and facilities below Cable Beach Surf Clubhouse are excellent anywhere between 1/3rd and full tide but not recommended at low tide. - Ditto Gantheaume Point beach where you have the added ability to drive on the beach to find a less densely populated spot to swim. - Visit to lighthouse and walk around the historic house grounds was well worth the effort. PS: We did the Cable Beach camel ride 2-years ago but didn't worry about it this year however highly recommended if you haven;t done it before.Guest review byGraemeAustralia
