What a wonderful house by the riverside! Location is excellent, in a very peaceful and charming part of Kulen Vakuf, but still 5-8 minutes walk from shops (both) and restaurants (3 in total). House surrounded but beautiful nature. Nothing beats having breakfast right by the Una river. Kulen Vakuf is a great base to explore whole Una River National Park with its waterfalls, hiking trails and rafting possibilities.

Perfect little home in a super location. Spotlessly clean with great facilities. Very friendly hosts who provided snacks and drinks - as well as charcoal for the BBQ. Kitchen and bathroom equipped with things like washing up liquid, salt & pepper, body wash etc etc . Even had the hosts father bring a bottle of his home made booze!! Air con worked well and WiFi also included. Outdoor seating was great fur sitting and dining. Can’t fault the place

The welcome was lovely. My host was prepared to pick me up from the local bus station, though that wasn't necessary as it's just a short walk. Some basic essentials provided in the kitchen, and a comfortable room. I'd happily stay again.

We stayed at Una Meryland and were absolutely delighted. Everything is brand new and perfectly clean, a cozy house right on the riverbank surrounded by stunning nature. The hosts are wonderful and very welcoming, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Truly one of the best places I have stayed in Bosnia — highly recommended!

    The apartments are situated not directly on the main road. Therefore it is a very quiet accomodation. The place has a huge parking and barbeque area as well as the whole house are under big trees in the shade. At the end of the property one can find the river Una for relaxing. Asmir and his wife are great hosts! They spoiled us with beautiful barbeque dinner and wonderful traditional cake as we arrived. English speaking very kind hosts who can give any information You need.

    Personally I like Kulen Vakuf very much because it provides a quiet environment, which is on the other side close to other amazing locations you can visit (you can reach them in less than one hour by car) as well as a good ambient for walking or cycling. We visited Strbacki buk, Martin Brod, Bihac, restaurants alongside Una (on the road to Bihac and Natura Art). A little farther is Bosanska Krupa and the old town of Ostrozac which are also worth a short visit. The National Park of Una is really place people who want to rest from city and work stress. In Kulen Vakuf you have a small restaurant next to the blue bridge with delicious meals (I would recommend trout and pita). In the morning you can buy bread in the same restaurant.

    Depressed town, with nothing to see, except the Tito's cave...

    Depressed town, with nothing to see, except the Tito's cave and Museum of 25th of May. The carst cave Ledenica is 15 km far, but there is noone to take you inside and it is without light. Definitely signed by war tragedy in nineties. But It could be better, war was finished in 95.

    Worth visiting the village, there were some local restaurants open and sinse it's in the heart of the National Park, the walks around are spectacular! Not to mention howling of the wolfs at night.

    Beautiful place for rest.

    Beautiful place for rest. Great surrounding locations and good restaurants (Kulen Vakuf and the area in the vicinity of 50 km). I would recommend visiting surrounding areas like Martin Brod and Strbacki buk)
