This is really the kind of place I adore, full of history with its more than 250 years existence run by the same family, 9th generation in a row, with its homely dining room and heartwarming bar with its old piano. I even was allowed to prepare for my piano class playing with candlelight! Christine arranged a last-minute reservation for us at the Brasserie Le Looping in Xhoris which we appreciated a lot as we did not really want to cycle further (and the (vegetarian) options were also great). We could park the bikes safely in the garden. The room (with en-suite bathroom) was very comfortable and quiet. That being said, the Chalet was GORGEOUS and clean and comfortable and truly amazing! We had peace and quiet, and the host stocked the fridge with many delicious breakfast items for each morning. Nico was very friendly and was already very helpful messaging us regarding our stay even if we haven't arrived yet. Gite feels like home. The place is clean just as what I expected. Everything was what I liked in a staycation. Everything you need was there it was complete. Although, I was afraid they might broke things we brought ourselves the kids kitchenware just to be safe. But all in all we and our kids enjoyed the place we already missed staying there. We will definitely go back if we plan to have a vacation again this year and will recommend their place. The location was good it was near the shops and tourist place like the cave. Away from the big crowds. Map for walks and biking are available in local stores. Great starting point for walks from 9 to 16 km. We booked at a very short notice and we stayed in an amazing villa with 10 beds (we were only 4). Everything one needs was available in the house. There is an amazing pool (clean and warm), towels and the nature around is impressing. Breakfast was very good as well.Guest review byvicontiLuxembourg
