We were visiting with another couple and they were equally impressed. The breakfasts were amazing, not just run of the mill croissants but freshly prepared with care and thought, different experience on each day, but made extra special with a small glass of prosecco on the breakfast table. Corunna also asked what time you would like to take breakfast which meant food was freshly prepared and the table laid out like a banquet. Each room has many different ornaments and unusual objects and given the amount of different pieces throughout the hotel it was spotless without a trace of dust. The small number of staff work extremely hard and the restaurant food is prepared with much care, and a very popular place to visit chill and chat. The kitchen was also large and kitted out very well which was great. Having access to a washing machine was also very welcome as we were doing a bike tour. The Hotel is beautiful, super quiet garden on the river, nice bar and great breakfast. 5 min to the center of Fleurenville for a dinner and 10 min to Orval Abbey. Florenville is a pretty little Belgian town in the edge of the River Semois. You can walk up to the top of the church tower and see the views over the valley. This is a great, spacious house with thoughtful decorations, we really enjoyed our stay! Pros Close to the abbey, great atmosphere, perfect for evening dinners on the terrace, comfy rooms and enough bathrooms. Good for families and groups of friends. Friendly hosts. We were a group of 8 friends and had enough space to relax without being in each other's face all the time. Some people can play a game, others read in the living room, others do yoga outside or paint, it was really easy to have your quiet time with this many rooms. Cons minor things need fixes like lights and door handles. Wifi was patchy. Water pressure in showers low. None of this impacted us enjoying our stay.Guest review byJacquelineGermany - 8.0
Small town/village.

Very nice people at the desk room.
Very nice people at the desk room. The bedding is clean and tidy but so uncomfortable !!! Mattress way too thing!!! Entering the room it was 17degrees. It was awful ! It took us til midnight to finally warm up. Then the thermostat went up like crazy up to 32 degrees. Then couldn’t sleep because way to hot! Terrible experience !!!Guest review byMarie
