SingaporeGreat location to visit Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. The room is spacious, clean and cozy. The Samson Mall and the gas station are located just across the road. Convenience is a big plus. We love the complimentary breakfast with a nice variety. It certainly saves us time having to look elsewhere.

United StatesThe hosts are very friendly and helpful, quick to respond to inquiries. The town Field is a quiet town, only. 25 minutes from Lake Louise/Moraine Park n Ride, closer than Banff by at least 10 minutes.. Field is also close to Yoho NP.
Charlie's Guest House is very clean, nicely decorated and appointed, had all that we needed, especially the higher-end stainless steel cookware, not the usual nonstick ones that are all scratched up. The dish washer is super quiet. There's always parking right in front of the house. We would definitely stay there again.

Clean, comfortable, and well-organized. The beds are cozy, and everything you might need is available.Spacious kitchen and a relaxing common area.
Friendly and respectful staff, a nice outdoor area, free water refills, and vending machines.
No hidden fees or unpleasant surprises.
If I return to Lake Louise, I’ll definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

The Paradise Lodge was the closest accommodation at Lake Louise that wasn't the Fairmont. It was about a mile walk but, again the closest available with a very scenic, safe walk along the river on a new path. Big bonus of free parking as parking at the lake was expensive and nearly impossible to get (full by 8 am). The rooms were large and featured a full kitchen, living room, balcony and large bedroom. Rooms were very clean on arrival and cleaned with everything replenished daily. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location super quiet with views out to the trees and mountain peek throughs. I paid nearly $800 per night expecting a quiet, nature-focused stay, as advertised on the hotel’s website. Instead, I was first given a noisy room, and then moved to another that smelled strongly of bleach and had a broken window. Despite my allergy, no alternative room was offered. The bleach fumes caused severe headaches that required painkillers, and by the second day, ants had entered the room. The Lake access can be difficult due to the massive crowds Lake Louise, such that hundreds of people walk 1-2 miles uphill just to get to the lake, because parking lot is full by 8:00 AM. Field is a small, quiet, town just off the Trans Canadian Highway. It has a few shops and an Inn which serves food. There are spectacular mountains on both sides of the valley with a beautiful river running through it. As someone who visited Lake Louise in 2007 the experience was different at that time we could drive right up to the hotel and that makes it a difficult for people with disabilities. I stayed at Cathedral Mountain Lodge because it was the closest place to Lake O’Hara. I had managed to win a much coveted bus ticket, and this was the perfect place to stay the night before. Absolutely loved staying at the lodge, views of mountains all around. The only thing I don’t like about this area is the highway.
