Didn't really know what to expect in Basel but really enjoyed our stay. It is bigger than I expected but the transport network is really efficient and with the Basel card it is free. The place we enjoyed the most was the Zoo - spent all day there - highly recommend it (and it is half price entry with the Basel card). We started with.dinner at Restaurant Fiorentina on the patio overlooking the river. On the morning went to the visitors center on Steinerberg. Downloaded the self guided tour and we were off. Very easy to see the city on foot and was very comfortable on our own touring.Guest review byWeiner
