～Style. Monastic, simple stone cottages scattered throughout the village ～Setting. Mountain village, sheer gorgeousness, wonderful staff ~ Explore. Nearby emerald river and waterfalls, walking along the one lane road to /from the hotel, each turn brings another panorama ~ Rooms: was in room 1 in the main cottage, comfortable and blissfully cocooned from the thunderstorm in the middle of the night ~ @ the hotel. Just across the square is the church, hotel rooms are scattered throughout the village, interesting conservation i.e. the revived ancient mill ~ Food & drinks. I was surprised at the quality of the food here, the freshness of the ingredients was evident, I even ordered the same salad twice and loved how chef Jeremy walked around constantly to greet his guests, when I checked in, also saw his gorgeous wife Désirée and their precious one month old twin girls ~ Prices. Moderate CHF315.50 ~Rating. 5/5 I was in Alba (Piazza Duomo), Lake Garda (Locanda del Benaco), Lake Como (Passalacqua) and here during this August trip. While I treasured every day on this trip, I have to say Corippo was my favorite experience, in terms of the location, the warmth of the team that runs this place, highly recommended !

The place was clean and bright. The view of the lake is beautiful. Having the restaurant on the property is perfect after a long day of driving.

The view was spectacular! The small garden was inviting and homely, and the owners were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious, and the guest rooms were beautifully designed and spotlessly clean. I especially appreciated how they preserved the original elements of the house while incorporating just the right amount of modern comfort. Thank you! We are definitely planning on coming back.

The setting is unique, beautiful, peaceful and so much fun. We called it the Troll Village. The food at the Osteria was amazing (be sure to book in advance). When visiting, be aware that the Bus comes only once per hour and there are no shops in walking distance, so have with you everything you might need. There is a mobile bakery selling breads from 8:00 - 8:15am (except Sundays), which we found very cute.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that the house was more than spacious enough for 4 adults and 1 child, and when another couple joined us for a night it was intimate, but comfortable. The sofa bed is actually outside the bathroom in a small room, so the only downside is that you have to pass that to use the bathroom, but it made the living/kitchen area more open. It was a very cute town and a short drive from some beautiful spots along the river.
