We got the room with the Matterhorn view and it was absolutely stunning. Especially when you want to see the Matterhorn glowing in sunrise and you dont want to get out of the hotel room yet! It was quite pricey for one night but we thought it was absolutely worth every penny. We had already been up four mountain peaks in Switzerland so we were more interested in the area than going up another peak. Great little village with no cars, only small electric vehicles. Great food, good shopping and stunning views of then Matterhorn. Nice to walk the streets with no worry of traffic. There was a small group of older local musicians dressed in traditional clothing who played at a location and then moved on to another location to play.
