Their lovely B&B was an oasis of calm on the outskirts of the small but busy town of Santa Cruz. We loved their 4 little dogs and the large, lush garden with free range chickens roaming in their own area; the freshest eggs for breakfast! The house is traditional and rustic with large bedrooms and bathrooms. The beds (we had 2 doubles) were wonderfully comfortable with quality bedding and we slept very well. Our hosts recommended vineyards to visit, places to eat and a taxi driver to ferry us about and all of their recommendations turned out to be excellent choices. The owners/staff are incredibly welcoming and the rooms are extremely comfortable. Moreover, the pool and terrace space at the hotel are fantastic and we made great use of them. Tour of the Torreon de Paredes vineyard in Rengo, about 20 minutes north of the hotel. Next time will visit other nearby vineyards including Casa Silva in Los Lingues. We visited several wineries during our visit. We particularly liked Vina Maquis, Estampa, Vina Viu Manet, and Laura Hartwig. We also enjoyed the Museo del Vino and the Automobile Museum at Vina Santa Cruz.
