Accommodation is amazing, truly boutique hostel. Hosts offer everything you could possibly want or need - from collecting at the station to fantastic breakfasts/evening meals and freshly brewed coffee as well! In terms of visiting the wall you will get the very best authentic experience including drop offs and pick ups, sunrise/sunset walks or be left alone to be totally independent. I stayed two nights at Beijing Mutianyu Great Wall Let's Go Hotel & Bar, and it truly exceeded all expectations! From the moment I arrived, I felt like part of a warm and welcoming family. The owners are incredibly kind, attentive, and thoughtful. Lily’s home-cooked meals are absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and made with love. On my last day, they even prepared a traditional Chinese breakfast just for me, which was such a special touch. The coffee is excellent too! They went above and beyond to help with everything—from organizing airport transfers to arranging tickets for the Great Wall. I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better stay. Highly recommended!

The manager was super attentive since the moment we made the booking. He offered transport service to/from Beijing, although we had our own already booked. The team greeted us with a great dinner included in our price, and the breakfast was also excellent. They sorted out the tickets for us, which was super helpful. They also took us to the great wall cable car entrance, and picked us up once we had finished. Super friendly people and I definitely recommend staying! By the way, the boy on the picture with Boris Johnson is the manager nowadays, although the pic was taken in 2008. This shows just how many years of experience they’ve had greeting international clients at this amazing resort! :)
