My brother and I spent 4 nights at Bora Bora. The staff was amazing especially Migual Angel, Bryant and the Bartenders made our stay a great time and experience. They were really trying to make all of our wishes come true. There is the opportunity to leave the resort and discover the Island yourself but there are also guided tours and Karaoke nights. I can highly recommend Bora Bora Beach Club. I think it is a great place for friends and also couples who love the mix between a club, where loud music is playing during the day and calm and relaxing evenings. Thank you to everyone of Bora Bora's staff for an extraordinary hospitality. We really appreciated you guys.

    This is true paradise. The staff (a special shout out to Erika and Albero sp?), location, and food were beyond expectation. Snorkeling off your own private dock, kayaking around the island in 45 minutes,wandering around the island on little sand trails (there's even a little general store for chocolate and other hotels for lunch). The food was great, I've attached some of the menu, and there are vegetarian and seafood options, as well. Dining was even better, sitting at tables overlooking the ocean, and the tropical fish swimming below you was incredible.

    Everything!!! Our stay at the hotel was worth every minute, from the boat ride from the dock to our return. The rooms are super spacious and comfortable, the staff is super friendly, the food is very typical and delicious. If you are looking for a place to really disconnect, relax in front of the beach and enjoy the advantages of being on an island, Islas del Encanto is the place.     The hotel, staff and location were all amazing. They are so attentive and always want to make sure you are fine. The food is really good and you can choose to eat together with the other guests, which was really nice. It´s a small hotel with only 3 rooms, so you all become like a family. The location is superb and its the perfect place to relax. You can also disover the island with a kayak or SUP board, or snorkel close to the hotel. We had the perfect stay!

    The staff of this hotel was really exeptional. Attentive and of great service. You have local fishermen selling you lobsters which you can buy directly from them and then you only pay the hotel 50K pesos to cook it for you. We tried it over dinner one day and it was delicious! Food and drinks were reasonably priced and no more expensive than Cartagena. Room was comfortable and breezy with ceiling fans. Overal a great experience.

    The staff takes care of everything. No need to worry about food or tours and if something would be missing you just have to ask them. Wonderful location for sunset.     You can’t beat the price & the beach is beautiful.

    You can’t beat the price & the beach is beautiful. The people were great & friendly. However I would bring mosquito spray & ear plugs bc if you get the room next to a generator it will drive you crazy. The best room is with the balcony so you could enjoy the sound of the waves & beautiful view, it’s definitely worth the extra money. Food & drinks were good. Take the taxi & boat suggested.

    Loved how you could walk one side of the island from our accommodation. Plenty of activities on option if you choose. We ate at the hotel as good menu and convenient. Lovely outdoor restaurant with food cooked as ordered. One warning about the boat trip back you get wet!! so does your luggage.

    The staff, location and room were excellent.

    The staff, location and room were excellent. Staff went out of the way to help and guide. We booked a car through the hotel for pickup and drop off to Cartagena and the car service (Carlos the driver was awesome and very helpful and punctual). We had a medical emergency and the staff were super helpful to guide and help arrange transportation to the nearest city. Highly recommend. Water pressure at the hotel at times can be an issue (beyond the control of the property), which is to be expected. The staff informed us of low water pressure times and were very helpful in providing a bucket to store water for shower if needed during low pressure times.

    Hotels are pretty isolated, so you may not go to another restaurant in case you don't like yours. The beach on the 'more popular' part are facing the industry harbour and the rafinery, which impede the experience.

    Keep in mind that not all hotels have beaches, even though they do have access to the sea. Also remember that walking from one place of the island to another is not possible due to the mangrove, so most of the time you will need to take a boat, which usually is provided by the hotel at a cost. This is a place to relax under the sun, swim in the sea, eat delicious food, and do some low intensity activities like paddle board or snorkeling. It is not a place to explore the surroundings, have long hikes, or party

    This place is paradise!!! The resort has been developed in a very natural way, we felt we had plenty of privacy and space around us. The food could be improved a little but overall the experience was great. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable! Isla Mucura is the perfect place to relax!     Baru is not a lonely remote place where you will enjoy peace and quiet. Hotels and lodges are literally next to each other. There are many people. When swimming, be careful of boats and jet skis that drive here and there very close to the shore. But the sun and the sea make all that unimportant. There are also various excursion options.

    Sunsets are amazing.

    Sunsets are amazing. The sea is BLUE blue, and the reef is a swim away to explore. Very small island, to explore through day and night nature activities. Bring nug spray and bug bite gel. You will need it but you are on a tropical island so to be expected. Would have spent one less day there and one more in the Old Town area of Cartagena

    great little hotels and restaurants in the area but too many hawkers selling you stuff. Be careful with your personal items. Bring your own towels. Sunset beach restaurant had nice cabana types to relax and consume.

    Tierra Bomba was a short 10-minute boat ride from Cartegena.

    Tierra Bomba was a short 10-minute boat ride from Cartegena. It was situated on a long private beach with plenty of daybeds to choose from. The rooms were spacious and close to the pool/beach/restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious. On our final night, we upgraded to the Private Villa with a Private pool and it was WELL WORTH IT! The private courtyard was beautiful and the pool was refreshing. The room was huge, comfortable and came with an outdoor bathroom.
