A place of true peace and tranquility, with an incredible view over the lake. Waking up to the nature was a major highlight. Ana and her staff were wonderful, and the food they prepared for us was delicious. Highly recommend!

This place is like « out of the time », hidden from the road, in a private and super confortable jungle. We enjoyed the pool, the garden, and the confort of the room. The breakfast is pretty good as well.

Everything. Des hôtes professionnels, gentils, attentionnés, by far far far the best night and day we had in costa rica. You will feel like home and in the heart of costa rica at the same time. Trully amazing breakfast and room/house. Everything is well tought, i am sure this is the best place to stai in whole costa rica, all that for a very modest price.     Our trip was mostly rejuvenation, health and to access the...

    Our trip was mostly rejuvenation, health and to access the volcano and hot springs. We went to Arenal park and hiked the trail to the Volcano. We saw a Capibara but most other wildlife is best viewed in the early morning. There were a lot of orchids in bloom along the trails. Going to EcoTermales Hotspring was the highlight. It's a gorgeous naturally constructed spa with layered pools, waterfalls all built with stacked granite rockery, bridges and pathways connect the pools, and there's plenty of seating, an open bar that serves the best mixed drinks. The restaurant served fresh healthy assortment of seafood and meats with veggie dishes with dessert at Lunch. The water was fed from the natural hotspring, which was circulated , refreshed constantly with fresh volcanic water. Attention to the holistic elements of nature were throughout. Staff and Service were top notch.

    The scenery in Nuevo Arenal is amazing.

    The scenery in Nuevo Arenal is amazing. Both the volcano and the lake offer many chances for impressive photographs. The town has the necessities that a visitor might need. Restaurants serve good food at good prices.

    Not convenient for La Fortuna.

    Not convenient for La Fortuna. It was a 20 min windy road drive each way. Nuevo Arenal was really noisy with dirt bikes and cars driving through. City has little to offer as far as food and entertainment.

    The town is beautiful and located in a beautiful lush area. There are cute little restaurants and sodas. The locals were very friendly. My only complaint would be that the restaurants and stores etc close too early. It was hard finding something to eat/drink later in the evening
