I am a frequent traveler and I can tell that this resort has nothing to envy their hotels nearby… Extremely professional and friendly staff paying attention to details (thank you Nikol and all her colleagues), the food is amazing and so fresh. The rooms are beautiful, modern, perfectly clean and the bed comfortable. Sea view is stunning and relaxing. Direct access to the beach with many sunbeds. As a solo women traveler I felt safe and comfortable at all times and I can’t wait to come back. The perfect place to recharge my batteries !

The hotel is in a quiet place, away from the hustle and bustle. Room was perfectly clean, spacious and with amazing sea view. The hotel is right next to the beach that is not very suitable for swimming because of the steep shore and waves. It`s walking distance (10-15 min) along the cliffs to Konnos beach and they provide free shuttle to the beach. There is nice pool area, spa and garden with many sunbeds. The food was very tasty with lots of choise. The staff made our stay even more special with nice room decoration and coplimentary sparkling wine and fresh fruit for my birthday. Not far from Protaras or Ayia Napa if you want some holiday vibes. Very good value for money.

A hotel is as good as its employees. Qbic City Hotel is exceptional! The 5 ladies at reception are there to accommodate your every wish 24 hours a day, no effort is too much for them. The style of the hotel is very interesting, from the balconies you can overlook the entire surroundings of the beautiful city of Larnaca. Awesome hotel. Location (near the natural park, with a view of mountain and sea rocks), clear sea, beach in the shadow of a hill (you actually don't need an umbrella), variety of choices for breakfast, spacious rooms with modern repair, helpful and friendly staff. There is literally nothing around the hotel - only some villas and beaches - so it's not a place for an active night life, just calm relaxation. Highly recommend. Some useful info and prices as of autumn 2023: - Bus route from Pafos using 2 buses: 645 (Pafos - Polis) and 622 (Polis - hotel), €4.5 in total. - Local taxi - €15 to Polis, €10 to Latchi (large village nearby, with marine and yacht tours). - Boat trip to Blue Lagoon from Latchi - €20 per person including wine and fruits, also recommended.

    Easy access with clear signage made arrival stress-free. The hotel offers a large, safe car park behind a secure barrier. The place looks just like the photos - no unpleasant surprises. The staff were kind and helpful. We arrived early and appreciated the luggage storage and welcome drink - always cold water with mint and lemon at the entrance. Such a thoughtful detail! Our room was bright, clean, and modern, with a beautiful view. It had everything we needed: plenty of towels, toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion, hygiene kits), a full-length mirror (a rare gem!), a great hairdryer, strong A/C, and daily housekeeping. The hotel is full of attractions - from pools for all ages (including jacuzzi and shaded baby pool), direct beach access via a palm-lined path, and water sports, to a gym, spa, mini golf, tennis, and evening shows that were truly entertaining. The breakfast was fantastic, with everything from English classics to local delicacies like olives and halloumi. The salad bar, fresh and roasted veggies (amazing eggplant!), great bread, pastries, cheeses, cold cuts, and a wide drink selection made every morning a treat. When it came to restaurants and bars, the hotel offered delicious variety — from local food (best Greek salad with capers!) to sushi, burgers, Italian, and amazing cocktails, including a swim-up bar.

    I was only 3 days, one of them I spent to visit local historical sites, second O was on the beach, and last one I took trip to local villages and winery. I likes mosaics at Historical Park, really worth to see. I was at Venus beach with also nice and clean. Trip wasn't too exiting but maybe I raised my expectations ).

    A place to go with small kids and family, if you want good weather in October-November, and you can even swim! The food is though very bad, everywhere. Even is restaurants! Peolpe are a mixture of balcan and Asian people coming to work there and stayed. The beaches are crowded and loud. Cheap ninght-life and shops, as not high-standard :( Nissi Beach and FIG Tree bay are worth to visit if you want nice beaches. The Blue Lagoon ois worth also a visit by boat and by walking distance also as it gives you different perspectives. The few local peolpe that you can meet are really helpful and lovely.

    It's a very safe and friendly city. It is easy to get around and residents are even kind enough to offer you a ride in case you get lost and no taxis in sight. Despite the language barrier, most people at least try to speak English. The food variety is actually limited with most cafés offering fast food which is not a fave. Some organic food would be welcome, including green vegetables which are rare.

    Polis is a nice place to spend a couple of days. There are some good restaurants and bars in the center of the town, serving nice traditional dishes in good prices. Nearby Latsi beach is well organised, offering all the amenities someone can expect (lifeguard, changing rooms, toilets). Polis can be used as the base for exploring the area and particularly Akamas peninsula. Highly recommended to 1st time visitors to the island!

It is mid-placed between Paralimini and Kapparis, which are the 2 areas we frequent the most, particularly loved for all its coves which provide the best areas for swimming, snorkelling and if you are lucky you will also see a turtle!

    I was expecting more people in Platres during the summer...

    I was expecting more people in Platres during the summer month of may but unfortunately the place looked deserted. Very few restaurants were open to have lunch and dinner, and sometimes the quality was very avarage. I would not recomment visiting Platres in July, perhaps August will be much better when local people take their holidays.

    Kakopetria is a beautiful destination that combines natural beauty, historical charm, and a sense of tranquility. Its picturesque setting, with stone houses, cobblestone streets, and lush landscapes, creates an idyllic atmosphere for visitors. The surrounding nature is remarkable, with hiking trails like Varkotis and Chromium offering unique paths through green forests and along rivers. The peace provided by the environment makes hiking an invigorating experience. Additionally, the calming sound of the river that flows through the area, like the one you can hear in the backyard of Maritsa Lodge, offers a unique sense of inner peace, almost like the natural white noise of the outdoors. In the village center, the traditional architecture remains intact, with taverns like Podji Poda serving excellent local cuisine, and small cafés welcoming you for a relaxing drink and dessert in the main square.     We chose a strategy of staying in a relatively central location, between Larnaca/Limassol and Ayia Napa, and rented a car. The drives were relatively short, around 30–45 minutes, with clear roads, no traffic, and a highway running across the country. I recommend others do the same.
