We had a wonderful stay! I had requested a room on an upper floor, and not only was my request kindly accommodated, but the room I received exceeded all expectations. It was spacious, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking—truly a highlight of my trip. What made the experience even more special was the staff. Every single person I interacted with was polite, professional, and genuinely helpful, an example of great hospitality, from reception to housekeeping—and the kitchen staff, who were all so kind. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so enjoyable. We would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Protaras!

The view from the room was spectacular. I had requested a sea-facing room and I got that. It was a corner room so there was a panoramic view of the city and the sea. The staff was very friendly and supportive. Breakfast was a good spread, freshly prepared.

    The moment we arrived, hotel staff impressed us with the attitude. Everyone was very polite and helpful: receptionist, cleaning ladies, restaurant hosts and waitresses, animation team. I'd rate staff 11 out of 10. Rooms were nice and clean, beautiful view on the pool/sea side. Cleaning happened every day, consistent and at the same time (after breakfast and before the lunch). Beds were quite comfortable. Air-conditioning actually responded to the control panel and we were able to set proper temperature. Food was good and diverse, there were typical continental breakfast dishes as well as local specialties. Animation team was very entertaining, a lot of people including myself were engaging in different activities like water polo and volleyball. Mini disco for kids in the evening and games and drawing during the day. Hotel has direct access to a beautiful beach with sunbeds and stuff, so we were always able to choose if we want the pool or the sea. All in all, great experience. I am not sure if we return to Cyprus, but if we do, this hotel will be the first option to consider.

    Where do i start 🤔 1) when we first arrived we got a free upgrade to a junior suite. 2) The hotel was spotless clean 3) Hotel personnel are welcoming, charming and very nice (All of them no exception) 4) room is new, comfortable and beautiful. 5) pool super relaxing 6) kids pool different from adults pool so that people without kids will not be bothered. 7) breakfast is very generous , tasty and way too many choices 8) we asked for a late check out but they were not able to provide it since there was an early check in right after us however, Nicos (the manager) offered us a free lunch and open drinks because he could not accomodate our late check out. Eventhough we were not upset at all and were not looking for any compensation. By far this is one of the best hotels i have been to in terms of comfort and service, both my husband and i highly recommend it. We did not want to leave. We will come back again and we will come with our kids.

    It was my husbands Birthday during our stay and I booked an executive suite and had a surprise stuff, like decorations, but unfortunately my husbands still chosen the honeymoon suite that we was booked during my birthday last time we was stayed at the hotel and he likes it very much. Happily that suite he likes was available and we just added an additional payment, and for the other room they didn't charge me for the decorations. The hotel meet our expectations and we had a very nice stay although it was been so rainy.. thank you so much and looking forward to stay again next time.

    I loved lying out on the beach, swimming and enjoying life. I want to especially mention Marianna, who works the beach bar with a great smile on her face. She has plenty of business but manages to always make a great cocktail and tells you, “I hope you really, really enjoy your time.” She remembers your name and room number almost instantly too. I’ve been all over the world and to many bars and Marianna is the best at what she does.

    Hotel was so good first time -we returned. And i would go again. It is a beautiful location and you can swim (ocean) just off the pier in front of hotel. Absolutely loved it. The half board option is well worth it -the food is incredible with a very large selection. And I cannot speak highly enough of the staff - Really genuine kind hard working people. Wonderful atmosphere -made a big impression. Highly recommended.

    It's a nice place, the people are very friendly, the bars offer Cypriot breakfast, which is worth having. There are not too many tourists in September, so it is pleasant to walk around the city. The only information about city buses could be written more transparently, the stations should also be marked in English, and it should also be clearly stated on the bus via loudspeaker or on a board which station we are approaching - many tourists are confused because this is not the case.

    Very friendly, but professional helpful staff. General cleanliness was v.good. Our room was absolutely wonderful for our requirements. The location of the hotel, was fantastic. Makronissos is in our opinion the best beach in Cyprus! Not so good perhaps - the variety of food availability, with the exception of breakfast. Also, personally we would have liked sparkling wine to be available on an all-inclusive basis. We will definately book again, it was tremendous value for money!

    It's a very safe and friendly city. It is easy to get around and residents are even kind enough to offer you a ride in case you get lost and no taxis in sight. Despite the language barrier, most people at least try to speak English. The food variety is actually limited with most cafés offering fast food which is not a fave. Some organic food would be welcome, including green vegetables which are rare.

    Polis is a nice place to spend a couple of days.

    Polis is a nice place to spend a couple of days. There are some good restaurants and bars in the center of the town, serving nice traditional dishes in good prices. Nearby Latsi beach is well organised, offering all the amenities someone can expect (lifeguard, changing rooms, toilets). Polis can be used as the base for exploring the area and particularly Akamas peninsula. Highly recommended to 1st time visitors to the island!

    Location was excellent Villa was super clean! The host was very responsive Family of 4 stayed in this perfect villa Great clean pool Loved the close proximity to the beach (30 second walk!) Would stay again without hesitation Host is lovely

    Platres is one of my favourite mountain villages in Cyprus.

    Platres is one of my favourite mountain villages in Cyprus. it has a lovely vibe and many restaurants and cafes to choose from. I recommend Pendeli Hotel for a luxurious stay or forest park if looking for a very budget friendly stay. Petit Palais is one of the oldest hotels in the square and is loved by locals and tourists. EnPlatron is one of my favourite Taverns offering great traditional dishes and live music on weekends. Kaledonia Tavern is also a favourite local tavern so make sure to give it a try Cleopatra Bistro is a favourite for modern dining and deserts and beverages. Beautiful and modern decor if looking for yummy fast food try I Sitzia Tou Mavrou for a delicious Gyros

    Kakopetria is a beautiful destination that combines natural beauty, historical charm, and a sense of tranquility. Its picturesque setting, with stone houses, cobblestone streets, and lush landscapes, creates an idyllic atmosphere for visitors. The surrounding nature is remarkable, with hiking trails like Varkotis and Chromium offering unique paths through green forests and along rivers. The peace provided by the environment makes hiking an invigorating experience. Additionally, the calming sound of the river that flows through the area, like the one you can hear in the backyard of Maritsa Lodge, offers a unique sense of inner peace, almost like the natural white noise of the outdoors. In the village center, the traditional architecture remains intact, with taverns like Podji Poda serving excellent local cuisine, and small cafés welcoming you for a relaxing drink and dessert in the main square. Landmarks such as the chapels of Saint Nicholas and Saint George provide opportunities for pilgrimage, while Marina's Rope Park offers activities for the more adventurous visitors. Overall, Kakopetria is an ideal destination for those seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, blending absolute tranquility with opportunities for outdoor activities and cultural exploration.

    We chose a strategy of staying in a relatively central location, between Larnaca/Limassol and Ayia Napa, and rented a car. The drives were relatively short, around 30–45 minutes, with clear roads, no traffic, and a highway running across the country. I recommend others do the same.
