Everything is on the expensive side, especially when they come with extras or additions that make the experience more interesting. 3. The castle was just heaving! anytime between 10am and 3pm you'll be standing in a queue to queue!! Plan this visit like a military campaign. 4. The astonomical clock and Charles bridge will be V. busy, especially during the high of summer. we arrived in october and it was still V.busy. Prague is lovely- full of cobbles to walk along- the food everywhere is amazing, shops are not cheap so not a bargain shopping place, I found most things were equal or more expensive than london. I saw everything inthe city in 2 days by walking everywhere and stopping at cafes and eating along the way, again the food is amazing and the pastry’s are out of this world, I never expected such great food. I felt 100% safe as a solo traveller walking day and night and had no trouble at all.
