The front desk staff were all very kind and welcoming (sorry I forgot to take their names, but we were greeted by a lady when we arrived and interacted with a gentleman during the day). Our train to Prague got terribly delayed, so we arrived at the hotel past midnight, but the lady very kindly and promptly helped us with check-in. The gentleman next day very kindly helped us with reserving tickets for a concert at the Rudolfinum, giving us very detailed info on picking up the tickets. I'd be remiss if I don't mention that the breakfast is excellent - the two ladies cooked us very tasty omelettes sprinkled with chives, and there's a wide selection of cheeses, fresh fruits, breads, and pastries every day. Beautiful city, some lovely places to visit...but I found it over-run with tourists, which made it very busy! We did some of the normal historical sites, but also did the National Gallery instead of the National Museum and I can highly recommend it. We loved the wonderful restaurants and coffee shops. All the main attractions were walking distance of the hotel - even walked to the cemetery where the composers Dvorak and Smetana were buried (2.3 miles from the hotel ).
