I recently had the pleasure of staying at Apartmány Dog in Dock in Veselí nad Moravou, and I must say, the experience was superb. Accommodation: The rooms were modern, elegant, and functional, with plenty of lighting. The space felt new, airy, and was equipped with an air-conditioner, making it ideal for hot summer days. Surroundings: The location is fantastic, with easy access to the Baťa Canal Prístav, a nearby park and Veselí nad Moravou swimming pools. Food: Breakfast was reserved at Bistro Dog in Dock, located next to the Baťa Canal. The food was delicious and of high quality, making for a great start to the day. Staff: The staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. Additional Amenities: The online check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. There are free parking areas marked with signs for guests only, but be cautious as there is also a paid parking space nearby. The Wi-Fi worked well. I was there with my mum, as I take her on holidays every year to spend quality time together and overall, it really felt like home away from home.

I´ve been on a motorcycle trip throughout Czech Republik and this premise has been my fourth stay.The very stylish hotel is quite newly arranged or at least renovated. The check-in (performed by a really beautiful young lady by the way) was very professional (maybe also due to the fact, that there has to be done an online-check-in in advance - just after booking). The hotel-owned parking lot was just on the opposite side of the street in comfortably walking disitance - so even getting the stuff from the cycle to the room was no complicated mission like it is in other city-hotels. My room was very nicely equipped and could be reached through a beautiful garden in the open hallway. I really liked this way to get to my room. In the evening I had dinner in the Restaurant belonging to the hotel, which is situated in the same building. It´s called the "Crazy Chicken" and served dinner (the mushroom soup was heavenly!) in a perfect way, offered marvellous czech beer and reasonable prices! The breakfast the mornig after a good night of sleep was also super and plenty! I was b y f a r the best stay during my motorcycle-trip in 2023 and maybe also the best stay in CZ during the years I travel this beautiful country by motorcycle.

    We were 2+2 in a double room which meant that the sitting area (sofa) was transformed into a bed. There was enough space in the closets for all our stuff for a 6 day stay. There was a very nice playground right next to the building, and we put a blanket (brought from home) on the grass to sit on and keep an eye on the kids. The whole garden is just amazing, both for playing and relax, and we even saw beavers in the little river behind the fence. Decent breakfast in the morning, and selection of local wines for delight in the afternoon. We really appreciated the little summerhouse in the garden where we could spend evenings protected from wind and mosquitos. If you have an eye for nature, you will see plenty of birds right from the backyard, including woodpeckers and golden orioles. The restaurant next door was run by a different owner and open till afternoon on weekdays, but there were anyway plenty of options to eat out in the town.

    An absolutely fantastic place! We had an apartment with our own private outdoor hot tub, separated from the rest of the complex, so we could practically walk around naked. The apartment itself was very comfortable, with well equipped kitchen annex and outside dining area. We loved the idea of basket breakfasts, which allowed us to eat whenever and wherever we wanted. Oh, and the wine cellar with individual fully stocked wine coolers for each room: what a splendid idea! The manager is an absolutely friendly and helpful person, he drove us around the village showing all the points of interest, and reserved for us a wine tasting session at the local winery (highly recommendable!). We made a new reservation for next year before we even left the place, what better recommendation do you need?

    This hotel is superb, we loved the smell of wooden beams and the way the hotel kept the interior simple, in keeping with its history. Our room was amazing, the spring mattress was good but I prefer a different kind so that was the only slight minus. Breakfast offered a good choice of hot and cold food and delicious coffee. It was very easy to rent bikes through the hotel, they also advised us on cycling trips and so we spent an unforgettable day cycling through the vineyards sampling local wine. I also need to mention boar ragu that we ordered in the restaurant, just wow!

    Hotel location was excellent , right in the middle of the town. Great to have free parking. Excellent choice of food for breakfast. Nice outside restaurant area with good choice of food and drink. . Super pool area on the roof. The only issue was that the use of the use of the wellness area which had an additional charge and restrictions on children’s age other than that a very enjoyable stay.

    Such a pretty old town centre with a square surrounded by lovely buildings. It was full of cafes and shops. Then the large castle loomed over the town from its hilltop position. You can walk through the castle gardens and along the path around the castle to admire it. From there the views over the town and across the countryside were stunning. We also visited the castle of Lednice only a short drive away. Just beautiful!

    Zlín as a city is good to visit. I recommend going to Baťa's Skyscraper (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ba%C5%A5a%27s_Skyscraper). There is also an excellent confectionery Dino (https://cukrarna-dino.cz/?utm_source=mapy.cz&utm_medium=ppd&utm_campaign=firmy.cz-997415).

    Lednice is an easy place to get to.

    Lednice is an easy place to get to. Hey have great accommodations throughout the city. So many things to see and do as within the area. We loved venturing out on our adventures to see other parts of the country. It is very a beautiful area! People are very accommodating and helpful. I would love to go back another time to take in more of the sights.

    Luhačovice is the most popular spa in Eastern Moravia. There are several healing springs around the spa colonnade, spa hotels and hiking trails leading through beautiful nature. In the summer, you can take a swim or take a pedalo or boat ride on the local large water reservoir. For lunch, we recommend hamburgers at Snack bar Victoria. You can enjoy a pleasant dinner in the Divadelní restaurant, where you will also find a nice children's corner.

    The city is nice and compact with many restaurants and shops, although some of the food stores closing very soon. Beautiful country side surroundings. Many tips for 1-day trips around (e.g. Slovacke museum).

    Nice small town, Nothing special in it but it is close to Lednice Castle. So thats why is good location if you are intrested for visit to Castle Lednice which is one of most beatiful castles with also wonderful gardens.

    Mikulov is a lovely little town close to Austrian border.

    Mikulov is a lovely little town close to Austrian border. It is famous for its vineyards and wine tasting facilities. You should definitely walk up to the Mikulov castle and Sv Kopecek hill. This is a must see! We ate in O’Hara restaurant which is greatly recommended.

    Amazing city with world-class modernist architecture (I especially recommend Bata's Memorial, the interior is breathtaking), the museum and gallery in Bata's Institute are worth recommending too. Don't come there if you don't like modern architecture though, there are barely any buildings older than 100 years.
