I loved the room service breakfast, so substantial, and served beautifully. Berlin is a very easy city to get around in, the public transportation is amazing and easy to maneuver. I loved the sites, history, and different neighborhoods to see. Fall is an ideal time to visit I think. It's not an overly crowded city and doesn't feel stressful as a tourist which I really liked. The apartment was in a quiet serene area. Walking distance to Helios Klinikum Berlin-Buch. Rewe supermarket within walking distance. Bustop right outside the apartment. Apartment was fully equipped and had all the amenities one may require. Cosy, clean and beautiful. Hot showers, comfortable beds, sun room. I got stolen 30 euros from here by a woman asking or donations to help deaf children.. I meant to give only 10, but she swipped a 20 euro bill out of my hands and refused to give it back. Had to skip dinner because of that! History is amazing, but aside from the historical sites (brandenburg, victory column, cathedral, palace), the city was not pretty at all. Honestly, it looked like Chicago had sprinkles of Washington DC. Using the public transit system is NOT intuitive at all, and I would probably have gotten lost if I didn't meet anyone who spoke english. Metro stations are also lined with scary people who are homeless, on drugs, drunk, etc. City is insanely cold and very windy. If you are a solo female traveler, I would NOT recommend!
