Centrally situated you are in walking distance to Bremen Altstadt and the Weser. The hotel itself is an amazing combination of modern design, comfort and beauty and artefacts from 800 year old history that came to light when the place was renovated and expanded lately. Our room with bath and small kitchen for self catering was amazing and the relation value for money as well. Everything we could ask for was available. The gym and pool, the roof top terasse were enjoyable, cosy, practical, and beautiful. But also bigger groups and businesses can find a suitable venue in Hotel Nena, since meeting rooms and facilities are available. My husband and I wholeheartedly recommend this place. Touring the Mercedes Benz factory or visiting the outstanding Emigration Museum in Bremerhaven or taking a tour of the mediaeval Town Hall. Bremen is quite small with a few attractions.
Bremen is quite small with a few attractions. It's easy to visit everything in a day. Apart from the old town, Bremen seems to be quite rough though so you wouldn't want to linger. Good point is that it's just a couple of hours from Hamburg and Cuxhaven, which can be visited as day trips. We enjoyed walking around the harbour but we bought a boat trip and the address on the ticket was the office of the company not the departure so we missed the boat! Please be careful and see if you have the correct address. Bremen is a good weekend hangout place. Obviously, depends on the company you are with, the weather, and the place you chose to spend your nights in. Two excellent museums, especially the maritime only a seven minute walk from apartment. Separately a WW II restored U Boat. Very nice small zoo plus Klima Haus, a major attraction.
