The beach is easily accessible on foot but there is also a bike rental right next door. If you've never been to the area, you can't go wrong with this hotel. The beach is incredible. Really. The restaurants are ridiculously expensive and the offer is very narrow. Curry worst €10.50! Simple salads €18.50. And if you consider that Fish Sandwiches are food you’re in luck, because that is really about it. That and Italian food. The only "good" meal I had was down on the beach at Arche Noah and it was pasta, of course. The "Baths" are a bit thin on the ground. Not a spa at all. Not even close. Tönning is a small town with some interesting spots for a short trip, even in the fall/winter season. We visited the 'Multimar Wattforum', a very interesting and informative exhibition about the 'Wattenmeer', that can be visited at all weather conditions. We visited the beach of St. Peter Ording and spent some time in Husum. Both locations are easily reachable by train (hourly commuter train). We will come back in summer to enjoy the swimming pool, the North Sea beaches and potentially the Danish neighborhood.Guest review byFrankUnited Kingdom
