It was a very pleasant weekend to spend in this wonderful place. This is the place where everything is done with love. We were impressed with the pool and sauna. Facilities and room were in great and cosy condition. Breakfast was awesome with lots of dishes to choose from. The property is located very close to nature and hiking trails, but the old town of Plön is still easy to reach by walking, which is especially very nice if you choose to do a little detour and walk along the lake.

On arrival my carer and I ( I am disabled) were made most welcome by the staff not withstanding it was at the evening meal and the restaurant was busy, time was made for us and everything explained very clearly and politely. My career and I were shown to our room that as requested had separate beds. The time for breakfast was explained and we were informed that we would be in plenty of time for an evening meal that we both enjoyed immensely. The bed was comfortable and as far as I am aware the bed my carer slept in was of the same standard. Breakfast was straightforward and plentiful for both of us, as was the evening meal on the second day and breakfast on the morning we left to carry on on our journey.

We stayed for one night before the ferry. It was quite clean as it could be, there were towels and shower gel, kitchen. The room was spacious, enough for 4 people. It works for a short term staying.

This holiday flat wowed us with its location and beautiful views. Although the area around the marina is still under construction at the moment, we did not find this having an impact on our stay. Would love to come back to see the development finished. The flat itself is beautiful, spacious and has everything we needed. The panorama window in the living room and the balcony are spectacular! The sunsets on the eastern side of the Kiel fjord are something to behold. We sat on the balcony every evening, mesmerised by the views. Breakfast on the balcony was lovely, too. We observed the many different seabirds on the little bit of land on the other side of the marina. The little bistro in the harbour was a useful stop for a night cap, ice cream or snacks. The local supermarket is a short car (or bike) drive away. Schleswig_Holstein is my home, so there are far too many places for me to recommend! We did spend some lovely days in Laboe and on the beaches in Schönberg and Hohwacht. The best fish rolls of all time is being sold of the back of a van in Laboe harbour!
