Everything was wonderful: warm welcome; clean room with a lovely view of the market square and cathedral; drinks from the mini bar were included and there was a kettle in the room which was very handy.     we had an amazing time. you can take strolls around the castle and into the forest, go to the city center by foot. very child and pet (cat) friendly. amazing beer garden and really lovely staff. the breakfast was tasty and quite varied. we are planning to come back - it’s very rare to find such a gem and it’s definitely worth the money. the room is simple but it has all you might need.

    We were at the new wing. Highly recommend it. The view was towards the forest, quiet and cosy place with great relaxing view, just like at your own porch. The dinner was also exceptional. One should try the lamb and the pork. I enjoyed the stay after returning from the bike's round trip.

    Seeing the old places which I love and the house where my aunt and later,also my grandmother lived. Like to visit the hyper markets and the many parks and most of course,Burg Linn,the castle. Nice to walk beside the Rhein and to visit the Zoo.

    Spectacular roman site, lovely historic town centre, large, beautiful cathedral. Good, easy parking, nice cafés and restaurants. Two large lakes for water sports. Beautiful surroundings on the banks of the Rhine, easy to reach and only some 2hrs drive to the coast/UK ferries. Friendly, helpful people.

    Business normally takes me to Kleve about once a year, but only enough time to conduct business and take a later evening walk. Would love to take in some of the surrounding sights and relax for a couple of days. The restaurants along the canal make the ideal location to do just that ^_-.

    it was 2 nights stay in Kevelaer and on the 2nd day dedicated to worship GOD by participating 2x the holy masses, 1x rosary pray, visit the main church , in between lunch in e the Golden Swan restaurant, which is very good taste. in Parkhotel we got the simple buffet breakfast, but it is satisfied not a lavished one of course . I highly recommend Park Hotel with very good location and cleanliness.

    I apologize, the pictures I accidently added earlier were from an apartment in Warburg, which was also great. I don't know how to change them. This apartment in Emmerich superb, easy to find, all we needed was there plus an incredible terrace. Highly recommend.

    Authentic, German experience with little or no tourists.Charming town, old architecture, pedestrian streets. Many friendly, non English -speaking people. Slow pace of life, many bicycles, retired people. Forest walks, (favourite place: Stadwald forest and lake with beergarden wth fabulous food) Also nice is Cosmopolitan garden irestaurant in Krefeld centre with a variety of dishes including Indian (Sri Lankan chef). Also lake swimming, Shopping also good. Dussledorf 30 mins by tram. You can walk around centre easily.

    One night in this hotel was plenty.

    One night in this hotel was plenty. It feels like a detention centre. Weeze town is only a couple of km away with much prettier hotels that may have some facilities. Best deal did not even have vending machines for snacks or refreshments, and without a car its difficult to get to weeze. The bus runs once an hour and stops at 17.30.

    Kleve is bigger than I expected.

    Kleve is bigger than I expected. We were there to view the University and the general area. There is a great selection of shops and supermarkets. The Zoo was very quiet but really enjoyable and very reasonably priced. Kleve is easy to get to from Düsseldorf and there are lots of bus routes when there but they do seem to finish early (before 9pm). We took the bus to Nijmegan also which was also great for shopping.
