The location was excellent and the staff was very professional. They even provided a bed, bowls, and treats for my dog, which was a nice touch. Before my arrival, the hotel sent me an email to inform me that there would be an additional charge for bringing my dog and that there was construction going on nearby. The room itself was well-equipped with slippers, robes, a small bottle of sparkling wine, chocolates, and a bottle of water, all included in the room rate. The room and bathroom were both spacious and well soundproofed, providing a quiet and comfortable stay. Overall, I was very impressed with the hotel and its amenities. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable and comfortable. Check out Die Schmiede for good food and drinks. There was a big supermarket withing walking distamce too. The property was very clean and well priced for what we wanted with plenty of parking at the rear of the property. There was a nice pretty relaxing garden and it was very quiet at night. There was a slight language barrier with us being English but google translate with Emails made communication with Sabine very easy. All the information on our stay with directions and how to access our key was very clear. We had a problem with our electrics on one day but after sending an email to staff a gentleman was around within 10 minutes and fixed it. The wonderfully restored buildings of the old city, museums, Schloss, churches, riverside park, Altmarkt market place are not to be missed. It is a good spot between Dresden and Meißen.
It is a good spot between Dresden and Meißen. You can get by train to both of them or even to the Sachsische Sweiz (Bad Schandau etc.). Also the Moritzburg castle and its forests is reachable by a steam train (it is worse with buses, better to use car otherwise). There are vineyards everywhere and many small castles or big villas. Good place for travel holidays if you want to see Dresden and Schlosserland places (Konigstein, Bastei Bruecke etc). Close to train station, but trains in Germany are expensive. Shops are present in Heidenau aswell.Guest review byPiotrPoland - 8.0

Overall amazing, you can just google stuff and see the beautiful sights. The only issue which most travelers will see it as a problem is lack of Uber or other apps.
