- From $218.69 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 309 reviewsSuch a charming and intimate place! With quirky, personal touches sprinkled throughout. We felt very much at home at Hornbækhus, and enjoyed exploring each of the nooks and crannies it had to offer. We partook in the community dinner, which was fun and delicious, and breakfast was nice as well (keep in mind, it's not a buffet - you order from a menu). Our room felt very cozy, however the real charm was coming out of the room and reading a book or enjoying a cocktail in the "living room" and going on long walks along the beach close by.Guest review byNina ParkDenmark
- From $107.63 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.4Good - What previous guests thought, 10,033 reviewsThe staff on reception were very helpful and polite. Even for a difficult traveler like me. Only kidding. I asked after the first night if I could move to a bigger room because my first night room was like a prison cell, eg. tiny bed and small shower. So they moved me into another room, which was a good size with a double bed and walk-in shower. My tour of Copenhagen was just the hotel and airport as it was a layover, so I bought food from reception, which was rolls or sandwiches of different kinds. And some Danish beer.Guest review byMark AustraliaAustralia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very Good - What previous guests thought, 380 reviewsThe place is very cozy. The staff were extremely friendly and tried to make anything happen for us. We had different room types and all of them were freshly renovated. Cool sauna with sea view with the possibility to jump into the sea afterwards. Also the food was incredible, the had a limited menu as it was opening weekend so we tried literally the whole menu and everything was delicious.Guest review byMichaelRomania

Me and my man went up here, we live 10 minutes away from this place, to see what it was about. And we get it. Come here, even if it is your last money spent haha. This place is insane. The interior design was to die for. I have so much inspo for my own house now.Guest review byStefaniaDenmark

Helsingor is an adorable town an hour north of Copenhagen. I don't know that I'd have ever thought to go there but my son decided to get married there. It was an ideal meeting place for both families as his wife is from Germany. There are lots of lovely shops and restaurants and the ferry to Sweden is super easy to catch. We enjoyed our short stay. :)Guest review byOliviaUnited States - 10

Whilst it does not have the charm of Helsingor, Roskilde has many attractions, especially the cathedral with its many excellent royal tombs, the town square, and the Viking Ships Museum which introduces the visitor not only to these remarkable survivors, but to the entire Viking world.Guest review byKeithUnited Kingdom - 10

I traveled by train from Copenhagen to do a 3 day hike. Koge was such a pleasant surprise - gorgeous architecture, good little hotel close to the market square, lots of amenities (shops/restaurants). Took a bus from train station (get your bus and train tickets in a 7 Eleven) to furthest point to hike to Stevens Klimt. Had to return there that night to connect onto another train to Mons Island - amazing hiking spot! Koge is not a touristy town so really nice to see the Danes doing their market shopping on a saturday morning too. Great restaurants too.Guest review byBirgittaAustralia - 6.0
A city famous for its castle.
A city famous for its castle. Otherwise, classic countryside, from the point of view of gastronomy, nothing that would in any way stand out above the Danish standard. Bad taxi service, quite problematic for those who don't come by car.Guest review byJanCzech Republic - 10

It dark in these time of the year, but it is a great and green place. Friendly people and possibly nice path for recreations. I were business there though. I would say the staff in the 7 eleven at the station I do like the best, however at late card terminal may not be operation. Feeling safe.Guest review byMihályFinland - 10

The hotel is clean and very close to the train station so, it was very easy to get to central station which gives you access to all the trains that will get you to where you want to go. You can catch a train direct from the airport to Tastrup train station and walk less than 5 minutes to the hotel.Guest review byAnnaUnited Kingdom - 10
Very clean, newly renovated, quiet. The room well appointed.
Very clean, newly renovated, quiet. The room well appointed. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. The hotel is in a small shopping area with a supermarket, small restaurants and every convenience very close. It’s a bit out of the city centre, so maybe not ideal if you are sightseeing in Copenhagen, but it’s on a bus line. My only small gripe- the pillows were small and we could have used two each and the winter bedcovers were too warm for June. Otherwise a great hotel where we will definitely stay again.Guest review byLynnAustria - 8.0

It's a quiet hotel, even though it's on a busy road. The guests room are in a wing off the back, where it's nice and quiet. Breakfast was good though coffee disappointing, compared to other hotels we've used in Europe. We would stay againGuest review bySaraUnited States - 6.0
Typical northern city. No different from Bruges.
Typical northern city. No different from Bruges. Expensive parking, no way to pay for it unless you download a local app (which asks you to disclose half your life while all you want is 15min of parking space)... Prohibited parking spots are unclear to the non danish. Better be careful where you leave your car. People are kind of cold, the usual, same as Belgium, Luxembourg, Holland... Hotels are expensive, and not always up to standards. Waiters are easily annoyed by questions or if you take time to choose. Had a couple of warmer encounters outside town, and spotted a couple of streets in the city center (near Magasins du Nord) that seemed appealing, with designer shops and restaurants. Will give it another chance some day when I have more time to visit Tivoli and all, but first contact was meh. Had more fun outside of Copehagen... Great countryside.Guest review byCarloItaly
