It was a real escape from the hustle and bustle of city life—starting with the journey to the hotel. A tiny serpentine road winds into the mountains, passing through a beautiful forest straight out of a fairytale.
The views were breathtaking, the rooms spacious, the food excellent, and the atmosphere incredibly romantic—calm and quiet. I slept like a baby.
I absolutely loved that breakfast was served in the room—no need to rush in the morning. Just wake up and enjoy the moment with your partner.
We stayed for two nights but wished we had booked a bit longer. The staff went above and beyond to take care of all our needs, even after we checked out. They managed to secure a reservation for us at a three-star Michelin restaurant—something we thought was impossible!

The hotel has a very pleasant atmosphere, with a somewhat dated but very characteristic interior. The breakfast and the diners were of an excellent quality. The hotel staff proved very helpful in getting us the best room available. During our last night in the hotel we experienced a false fire alarm. This quiet small village shows an entirely different face...
This quiet small village shows an entirely different face during the carnival season. There are the traditional costumes which is a bit scary (for small children) but really lovely to see. The next day, all the village was disguised for the occasion - only the tourists weren't - and it's so lovely. Check out the event calendar. It's not far from the towns such as Irun, San Sebastian, Hondabirria, etc., and yet you can also visit other small villages in the mountain. Lesaka has a lot of places to eat and relax. A restaurant/bar Kasino is very well known to serve super omelettes (tortillas Navarro) but watch out, you need to reserve a table AND the omelette before hand otherwise you will have to wait for a long, long time. The omelettes are also expensive (30E for 3 portions, 40E for 4, etc.) and you need to anticipate this. The village is wholeheartedly recommend.Guest review byTom_ParisFrance - 10.0

As stated in my review our stay was disappointing due to the electrics in our room although I requested room 209 the staff were aware of the problem before our arrival perhaps they would have been better offering us an alternative room it’s a shame as we travel to Spain twice a year and have used this hotel every time it is pleasant the scenery is fantastic and it’s very convenient when travelling from Brittany as it is half way I’m not sure if I will book it againGuest review byLindaFrance
