- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 514 reviewsIt was just perfect. We needed a place that was out of a town to chill between planned events. The bungalows were clean and well fitted out. You have to be really good friends or family as the sound privacy between the bathrooms and bedrooms is as you would expect from bungalow. The location was superb with beautiful beach 500 m away through fields. We were welcomed by a very friendly family team. It was really quiet and the whole site was well managed. I'd go again.Guest review byStevenUnited Kingdom
- From US$308.41 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 941 reviewsLuxurious and elegant building, rooms, and furniture. It was a charming place to stay. We enjoyed a snack in the garden from the cafe in front. Sitting in the window of my room felt like sitting in a magic garden. It was quiet with or without the windows open. Short drive to the city. It was nice to have coffee and a lovely glass bottle of complimentary water in the room.Guest review byMariaGermany
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 2,279 reviewsThe property is brand new: from cabins to all the furniture, appliances, utencils, etc. It is away from San Sebastian center, but if you drive your own car, the top-of-hill location is quiet and refreshing. The rooms in cabins are quite comfortable. Also, there is bus from city center to here.Guest review byJianUnited States

Santiago town was a buzz with pilgrims that had completed the Camino way, which was inspiring and to hear the piper welcoming them into the city was emotional. The town was a great place to explore with so many narrow streets and alleyways that made it even more interesting. There were a variety of resturants, cafes and bars all of a high standard and reasonably priced.Guest review byDaveUnited Kingdom - 8.0
A very nice and clean city.
A very nice and clean city. The Old Town was very busy during the evenings, with plenty of bars and Pintxos places to eat. Did the 2 hour boat trip but it wasn't very interesting (loads of views of derelict buildings and industry!). Did the Hop Hop Off bus tour which was good to get a quick view of the city. Did a Pintxos and drinks organised evening tour of 5 bars in the Old Town and would highly recommend it (thanks, Irene!). Visited the outside of the Guggenheim Museum but not being a modern art fan, didn't think it was worth spending £25 to visit inside, Would suggest that 4/5 days max is needed to see everything.Guest review byPeterUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Nice lively city though very busy with tourists.
Nice lively city though very busy with tourists. Plenty of things to see and do. The San Telmo Museum is well worth a visit. Pintxos bars are obviously one of the main attractions but there are plenty of good restaurants too.Guest review byJohnAustralia - 10.0
Santander is so much more than a Ferry Port 'stop over'
Santander is so much more than a Ferry Port 'stop over' It is a fantastic town/city/community all in it's own right and probably not appreciated & promoted as much as it should be by travel writers and tourist companies. No need for us to list the places we enjoyed. Just go visit and explore for yourselves. You won't be disappointed ! Thank you Santander !Guest review byGrahamUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Very nice city. It isn't big and can be walked through.
Very nice city. It isn't big and can be walked through. All districts that we visited were tidy, with good architecture and style. Really beautiful streets and architecture, traditional and modern at the same time. Recommend to visit: - San Francisco (central) park - not big, but proposes a good walk. - Catedral de San Salvador - it brings impression. Also nice walking around through older streets, whose squares are the centers of evening entertainment. - Oviedo Congress and Exhibitions Center - very impressive with its size and design. I was shocked encountering such a stylish giant in a city that small. - Sacred Heart of Jesus Monument - the monument itself is nice, but mostly interesting (at least for me) for its amazing view - the whole city can be observed from here, mountain views, your site can even reach the ocean and Gijon. Also there are several points of interest nearby moving back to the city. If you travel with a child, the playgrounds are also fine here. My daughter enjoyed zip lines a lot which are quite common here.Guest review byMikhailRussia - 10.0
I was pleased with my time in Arzua. I was tired.
I was pleased with my time in Arzua. I was tired. It was a long hard walk with a 40 lb pack on my back, so reaching Arzua and having a clean comfortable bed with a private bathroom and the promise of a hearty breakfast the next morning was a bonus. Also I learned that I could have someone courier my back pack to my next destination was a very welcome piece of news.Guest review byPamelaCanada - 8.0

O Pedrouzo is a small town on the way to El Camino De Compostela. We only needed to stay one night and that was enough. I'm not sure if there were much to do in town. We tried two restaurants El Bule and Galaicos that serve traditional Galician food. Prices were fair and food was good.Guest review byJuan - 10.0

This resort in Asturias was unknown to us. A wonderful traditional holiday town, which has been welcoming guests for well more than a century. The ambiance was great, the walks and beaches fantastic and the restaurants and bars excellent. To be recommended.Guest review byNigelFrance - 6.0

It's a pretty medieval town, and I read that they control development, yet it still allows souvenir shops! It suffers in the way all pretty touristy places do: not many decent places to eat at a reasonable price. After one evening looking around we used the hotel as a base to travel to other places. I'd recommend a day visit at most.Guest review byPeterUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Zarautz is an impossibly quaint, clean, and beautiful town...
Zarautz is an impossibly quaint, clean, and beautiful town with one of the best surfing beaches in Spain, and possibly Europe. It is a town that is so picturesque it could be in its own movie. The shops are beautiful and tasteful. The restaurants serve some of the best food I've ever tasted. And the beach is huge and absolutely stunning. Everywhere you turn you are rewarded by a beautiful view.Guest review byMarkUnited States
